Definitely one of the better meals I have had in a restaurant but not quite the best. Some of the combinations seems a bit odd and possibly made just to be different but flavours didn't always jive. I would still eat here again, just popped in on a whim while out for a Harley ride.

On our recent stay at Tigh-na-mara we had the opportunity to dine twice at the Cedar Room, once for dinner and then for breakfast too. The food was incredible. We were lucky enough to have won a prize that included meal vouchers, so the price was right! All the food was great, no complaints at all. They even gave us... More

Giving them two stars is generous. We went for half price appies, and it would have been one star if we paid full price. The food was mediocre and I would never order the popcorn shrimp (greasy) or the cauliflower and spinach dip (bland and misrepresented) again. The menu specified the dip with pita chips and we specifically asked for... More

Went in at 11am for breakfast. The restaurant was empty except for one table but 4 staff members walked right by us without seating us. After standing around for several minutes, the hostess then came and started wiping menus, still without looking at us, although we were the only people standing there. Finally she seated us with very wet menus.... More

our group of 6 was seated promptly and our server was there immediately with water, specials and recommendations. The mussels were nicely done (a bit of chorizo in the sauce livened things up a bit) and we were offered a choice of a full pound rather than the 1/2 pound on the menu - we also were allowed to order... We have stayed here numerous times over the years and always make a point of eating here when we can. We had breakfast this time. Everything is always beautifully prepared and tasty. Our waiter was excellent and very personable which always makes a big difference. There was fresh fruit and pastries as well if you wanted or you could add... More

Tasted like pub food. Tried both restaurants and both are so-so. Nothing to write home about. Very average but a bit pricey.

Went for our anniversary with a reservation. Decent table and very friendly reception but service got slow from there. Tables seated long aftert us got their drinks first and we had to ask 3 times for water ( which the other tables got without asking ). Food was good but not outstanding and the fine dining plate presentation doesn't justify... More

Took the family for a birthday dinner and the girls were served a cold bowl of pathetic macaroni with minimal red sauce and a tiny dry cheese pizza. My caprisi salad was served with chicken that was most definitely microwaved. Everyone else was in agreement that their meal was mediocre at best. Save your time and money and look elsewhere....
