This restaurant is fast becoming a city favourite and I see why. The Wonton soup was so very tasty and one serving was large enough to share with my lady. It was hot and good! The entrees are a wonderful blend of flavours and served heaping a piping hot. We ordered after getting some background on a few dishes. Our... More

This is not a chain restaurant, but the real deal. Vietnamese food, in a nice, not fancy place, where conversations can be heard. The service is excellent, as is the food. i ate there twice in less than a week. Everything I sampled ...yes, wonderful. And, the prices were not crazy.

We had heard through friends that there was a great Vietnamese restaurant in Parksville, found it through Trip Advisor, and thoroughly enjoyed our lunch stop. Food was tasty and fresh and the service was second to none. Would highly recommend.

We got our food to go, since we were tired from a long motorbike ride in the rain. The manager was so friendly and helpful with choices, and gave us some nice hot tea while we waited. We had salad rolls, lamb curry and the spicy chicken stir fry. It was all so crisp, fresh and delicious. Great value too.... More

Another restaurant we have repeatedly passed on our frequent visits to Parksville as a consequence of its rather uninviting exterior. Don't pass this place by. The interior of the restaurant is very pleasant with a bamboo treatment on the walls, comfortable booths, and interesting photos of Vietnam (taken by one of the owners) on the walls. The host/server is one... More

The place is advertised as vietnamese, its not what I am familiar with when describing vietnamese (pho bowls, bun, ect,...) but I was very impressed with the service and the choices. I was told it was more upscale and since I really like most asian cuisine it didn't bother me that it was not what I thought viet food was,... More

It is so good to have authentic food in a small town. The family are Vietnamese, parents cooking in the back, their son taking your order. There is always a gaggle of Vietnamese (family) chatting, smiling, prepping and chopping in the open kitchen and it shows in the freshness of the food. They make their own noodles so a 'must-try'... I am no expert in Vietnamese food or even Asian food in general but I love it. I've had the Ginger Chicken and the Spicy Chicken Stir-Fry and they both tasted excellent, if maybe a smidgen salty. They were $14 each which is not too bad I suppose, but a bit on the high side. $12 seems more appropriate to... More

The dishes are a little bit more upscale than your standard Vietnamese dishes. Emphases is on subtle coconut milk curries with an infusion of fresh herbs. Nice to see lots of items in the seafood section too. I started off with the green mussels, done in a mild coconut curry sauce, they were large and plump, sauce was delicious. My... More
