Great for English food

This pub/restraint is situated in beach acres surrounded by log cabins and trees. Sea view from the outside dining area. A good place to eat.

A beatiful restaurant bar with excellent food and a choice of 17 beers to choose from not to mention the fantastic picture window views overlooking the outside gardens dining area and breathtaking Rathtrevor Beach, a must try.

After a long walk on the beach it is a great place to stop for lunch. Soup was delicious. Eating outside looking out over the ocean is a real treat!!

We have gone to the Black Goose Inn several times & every time it is just as good as the time before. The ambience is wonderful, and if the weather is nice, I would recommend eating outside where the view of the ocean is spectacular. I haven't yet tried any of their beers, but a few of our friends have,... More

The food was spectacular, they have about 19 beers on tap, you can run a tab. BEWARE: it's a smaller restaurant so make a reservation to avoid disappointment.

Who would have thought in Parksville? A real treat to dine here. An old Maclure home converted as an English pub with authentic fireplace. Typical pub fare and a great variety of brews. The pies are traditional and yummy. The fish and chips are awesome. The daily soup is hot and hearty. The view out to Mistaken Island from beautiful... More

Reservations are a must if you want a table at this very popular pub in the old McLure hourse. Beautiful old wood detail and charming seating areas make this pub a standout. We enjoyed great service - ti was prompt and friendly. The food was wonderful. I have to go back and try their steak and kidney pie.
