My wife and I eat here every two months or so. I used to visit Japan a lot on business so appreciate good sushi. Sam's is the best I've encountered locally. Sam and his staff provide a charming and welcome environment.

We are not very frequent sushi eaters, so our ability to judge and compare is somewhat limited. That said, the sushi here was as good as I have ever had. We tried the Volcano and Salmon tempura, and salmon mango rolls. All were amazing. Service was very friendly and quick.

Nothing overly special but decent quality, well priced and some interesting rolls. Would eat here again.

This was a cute little place. We knew we wanted to try Sushi being on the Island and we found this on Trip advisor and thought we would try it. No lie ! This place was great, and we were lucky to get there when we did, at around 11:30am on a Thursday as it was packed by 12:15 and... More

Sam's sushi is a great place for personalized, attractively-priced, consistent quality, traditional Japanese chef-made sushi. The best part about the place is Sam and his staff, they are certainly the crowning jewel(s) of the establishment. I do recommend eating here if you're in the hood--the over all space is intimate (tight on size) and it can be busy so be... More

Sam offers amazing sushi at an insanely affordable price. He's always on the line, keeping zen and making fresh and delicious food for his customers, and always offers a smile in greeting and farewell. Sushi can be a tough sell for people who don't enjoy seafood, but Sam's offers many vegetarian options, such as the vegetable roll, the deep fried... More

Sam's is a total charm and little gem. Food is uber fresh, creative and very authentic. Have eaten in Japan many times and Sam's food does his country proud. We ordered food off the menu and he cooked it up. The atmosphere is quaint, unassuming and rather plain but the food certainly isn't. I have eaten here many times and... More

Decided to stop here for a lunch and weren't disappointed. The sushi was fresh and delicious. Shared a Bento box and some gyoza with my husband. Well worth the drive...and its right across the highway from the fresh seafood market.

The sushi is pretty great here, they some really original rolls worth trying, I recommend the french creek roll. They also have an amazing avocado salad, with some of the best dressing I've ever tried at a Japanese restaurant made with ponzu (a very citrusy sauce) mixed with something else. Its so refreshing when your craving a salad. There seating is... More
