Best Burger in town

Good old fashion drive-in restaurant, I like everything about it. It is not the easiest to get in and out of (traffic).

Amazing burgers and Onion Rings. One of the best I've had in quite some time. A really cool drive in style building with seating as well. I felt like I took a step back in time. You need to try this place.

Horrible horrible horrible. Dry dempsters hamburger buns, canned mushrooms, and the burger supply is some blah, grisly frozen patty. Best part of the visit was the service....the girls are very nice

Went there on June 14th based on the positive reviews. Has no one ever had a good burger before? What are all these positive reviews based on? The burgers were terrible, "cafeteria" burgers at best. Frozen, commercially made patties, heated up and placed on a generic bun. The mushroom burger had canned mushrooms on it.....really?? The services was good.

The wait is a little long, but it is DEFINITELY worth it. You can pick up a delicious burger and drive to the waterfront right nearby and enjoy it while bearspotting across the river. Seriously, best burgers of my life.

We were driving through Port Alberni on our way to Tofino. The J&L drive in was recommended to us by family who lived in the area for years. It is a classic drive-in and you can eat in your car, at some picnic tables near by or take it to go. Service: I have not encountered a group of friendlier... More
