Solid drive-in food!

We were driving through Port Alberni on our way to Tofino. The J&L drive in was recommended to us by family who lived in the area for years. It is a classic drive-in and you can eat in your car, at some picnic tables near by or take it to go. Service: I have not encountered a group of... read more

Amazing, cute little drive in diner. Its simplicity made perfect. Its one of the main places I eat when I get into town.

After a hard day of sunning and swimming at a nearby lake, my friend and I needed some sustenance. We got takeout of mushroom burgers, fries and onion rings. Oh my just the right amount of char and sauce. The sides weren't too greasy or breads. The food was perfect with cold beers at home. J&L is loved by the... More

Best Burgers in Port Alberni, excellent friendly service and the prices are great! Don't have to dress up, as food is brought to your car.

She worked there and was so grossed out. Not much anyone should be eating there. Use to be cool that they would skate up to the car. Good service and I know my partner loved the milk shakes before we realize it's all unhealthy. :( I had nothing.

Good selection, cheap prices, quick friendly service and awesome mile shakes. That's it folks. We were disappointed with the fries, burger and grilled chicken burger. The only thing worth buying are the milk shakes....thick and very good.
