Stopped for fish and chips on the the way to Tofino. The fish was fabulous but the portions are massive so if you are not a big eater, go for a single piece of fish! Delicious

Loved the fish and the option to have half salad and half chips. Great renovated old church complete with pews and stained glass

love the fish and chips!!! nice dips to choose from. The cole slaw is not very tasty so I always order half caesar/ half fries. Nice that they have this option on their menu!! good service.

We stopped here for lunch on our way to Tofino and we liked it so much we stopped on the way back also. The fish was moist and big, with not too much breading. I had Halibut both Panko and Traditional English style, and both were delicious. Other people in my party also had the fries, Caesar salad and coleslaw,... More

Wow Finally a place that gives you a nice big piece of fish. Everything was fresh and tasted awesome. Staff was very friendly and made you feel like home and not a number. We drove from Parkville just to goto the Bare Bones and will be returning very soon. All my neighbour's will be hearing about the Bare Bones.

Can be very busy so suggest reservations or take out. Restaurant used to be an old church so atmosphere rather unique.

You won't be disappointed The My wife and I loved it so much, we ate there twice in two days. The building it is in, is a old retired church. It has character. My wife loved the salmon and I had the Halibut. They offer different ways of preparing the fish. I had it in traditional batter and next time... More

Driving by, you might almost miss Bare Bones, which is set inside an old church. They don't have a lot of seats, but the food is incredible. Healthy options, great beer, and the best fish and chips I've ever had.
