We stopped here for a late lunch during our travels. It was very busy, so service a bit slow but food was great. You have to queue to have your order taken, then grab a table, where you will be served. Can recommend the pork pie, quiche, vegie melts and fruit crumble.

We were driving through Revelstoke and found this little spot for lunch which was very good. Again a very nice little spot which is obviously frequent by the locals. Lots of gluten-free and vegetarian options. Staff appears to be little confused about which tables the meals are to be delivered to, which actually became comical for us to watch. Twice... More

After a great night staying at the Revelstoke Mountain Resort we grabbed a quick bite to eat on our way to Vancouver. Can't say the staff seemed overly friendly but the place was packed. Bagels fresh and yummy muffins...cranberry with lemon yoghurt was divine. And the best cappuccino I have had since arriving in Canada over two weeks ago!

As we departed on a trip across the country, a friend gave a small birthday cake to my daughter as her birthday would take place while we were travelling. Before we had a chance to celebrate at the hotel, the box with the cake was dropped with predictable results. With the damaged cake in hand, we went to The Modern... More

Based on reviews we cut off the Trans Canada for lunch. The place was humming mostly with locals who seemed to know the protocol. We stood bemused in line trying to figure out what was what. There was a board on the wall that offered soup. But what kind of soup? When asked a very testy older woman server snapped... More

Whats not to love when the coffee was awesome and brownies addictive. Shop is welcoming and staff friendly too. Wish I had a place like this in every town.

Great little bakery with good selection of pastries and unique lunch items. Can be very busy and hot during the day. Serving staff were very attentive.

This was our second stop for lunch at The Modern Bakeshop. We stopped in last year on our way from Kelowna to Calgary. It's a bit off the main drag, but easy to find and we'll worth the trip! Last year we had a yummy soup, fresh baked bread that was so good we bought a loaf to take home... More

It is always busy with great soups, salads and breads. We were fortunate to get an outside table as it was warm inside!

Great coffee and pizza (crust). Loved the relaxed vibe. Just a nice patio to reflect on the sleepy and friendly town of Revelstoke.
