Like the Old West...

In fact, you'd swear this was built back then and nothing has changed since. I hadn't been back in 15 years and I don't believe anything has been updated, the curtains, the fixtures...it is supposed to have that old west theme but there should be a little more maintenance. On to the food... We... read more

We dined here for Sunday brunch. Our coffee and menus alone took 15 minutes or so. The server was the only one working and explained she was busy. She was friendly and this review is not a reflection of her service but it was really slow from start to finish. We ordered eggs Benny....which arrived with no meat. The server... More

Traveked after Christmas on my way to Vancouver, had a soup , ok ( but not great ) and the so called pork wings, surprised ( in a good way ). Nice service , our waiter had a tatoo on his arm with a pork marked with different cuts, that I call dedication. Bit outdated and cold but a decent... More

We were waiting for the Grayhound bus and this was a convenient place to sit down and relax. The poutine we enjoyed had actual cheese curds, and the fries were not those from frozen. They could improve the gravy somewhat. Excellent service!

just checked in to the near by motel and told there was a buffet in the restaurant so headed straight there, walked in looked neat and real western. waiter seated us to the nearest table no care where, asked if we wanted a menu or buffet and dessert for $16 sounds good right, soooo wrong, the buffet was hard to... Looks interesting from the outside like an old saloon town. The restaurant is dismal, dark, bad. The staff try their best but seriously don't bother.

The service was great, really nice kid. He was training a new cook while serving us and did a great job keeping us entertained. The food took about 45 minutes to arrive. We ordered blueberry pancakes, corned beef hash, and chicken quesedilla. The blueberry pancakes came without blueberries and we're dry. The corned beef hash was actually served with HAM... More

I've been stopping into Revelstoke on and off for 20 years now. The Frontier was my favourite restaurant, and one of the better ones anywhere. What a disappointment! Seems to be in a bit of a shambles (milk shake machine not working, draft beer not available because of broken machinery). Menu still the same, but the food just didn't quite... More

Haven't eaten there in many years and wish I could still say the same. Terrible service, food, and the place was filthy. Hang a left at the next light and hit up Nomad's under the overpass and on the right. You'll thank me!

Have not been here for many years. Brought my young kids for a trip to the enchanted forest and this was a good memory for my wife and I. Wow have things changed. We politely paid our bill after such things as the server bringing syrup to the table with a ribbon of dry. Syrup streaming off the dispenser and... More
