Best Japanese YUM YUM. Always eat here when in town. Everything made to order and large serves compared to most Japanese places

We were snow bound in Revelstoke so wandered into Kawakubo not really expecting much. Our first surprise was that we needed a reservation mid week. The hostess was very accommodating and sat us at the sushi bar and after we ordered (warm saki, a sushi boat and a teriyaki dish) they asked us to move. They said the sushi was... More

On our way through Revelstoke we decided to have dinner here. My husband and I were both really impressed with the food. We had assorted tempura and 3 special rolls. All was delicious. We hope to have the chance to eat here again.

This is by far the best sushi I have ever had. The rolls taste absolutely amazing. I can easily come here and spend $50 just on rolls. The meals are not cheap but are definitely worth it. The staff are always friendly and offer top notch service.

This place has really good sushi. I am not really a big sushi lover - I don't mind it though. but I really enjoyed the meal I ate here.

It's rare to have such a perfect sushi restaurant in a small town, much less a small town really far from the ocean, but these folks have done a great job making a real restaurant experience with brilliant food. Swift service for lunch and dinner, value packed meal options, and quality offerings make this the only sushi place in Revy... More

By way of background, we're Australian on our second trip to Revelstoke. We have been to Japan seven times, so have a very good appreciation for quality Japanese food, which is what you will get at Kawakubo Japanese Restaurant, in Revelstoke, BC. They have a great range of food options, prepared fresh to order. We tended to have their special... More

All home made ingredients. Good food. House wine is great too. Prepared with passion. Don't miss this one when in Revelstoke (or Vernon).

This really feels like an authentic sushi restaurant, placed right in the middle of inland BC. The food was excellent with a great choice of dishes/sushi. The prices were reasonable prices. Service was friendly. Would eat there again !
