I don't even like sushi and I love this little restaurant. Staff are amazing and the food is to die for.

Can not say enough good things about this place! Had a dynamite, scorpion and California roll with a gf order of chicken teriyaki, amazing. Their Caesars (drink) are killer. Good food, great service. Highly recommended.

We enjoy great sushi from time to time, and Kawakubo provides that. For a small town like Revelstoke, the sushi compares to quality, price, and value like in Vancouver. Where there are many great Sushi places we have visited, this is the next best thing. I would definitely recommend going, make sure you book a seat, for it tends to... More

Very good fresh food. Their gomae and agadashu tofu are to die for! Very creative sushi. The dragon roll is our favourite. One of our favourite spots for a special occasion.

The food, service and atmosphere are all very good. There are two private rooms upstairs that are ideal for a big group. I will definitely go back.

I'm from Seattle, where we are spoiled by great fresh sushi and fish. I tried this restaurant at the suggestion of multiple locals but I was still a little nervous. It definitely exceeded my expectations! We had a few appetizers, nigiri, sushi and house rolls. All were terrific. Definitely make a reservation as it was packed.

We didn't really expect to find such a high quality Sushi in the mountains, we were all very impressed. We will definitely go here again!

We went as a family and was underwhelmed after hearing such a good buzz. We eat Japanese often at home so know a thing or two. The shumai tasted funny, they were out of ahi tuna and the substituted albacore was bland, the don buri rice bowl was tasteless . The staff was quite nice and the ice cream fine... More

I'm sorry i have forgotten your name but THANK YOU... We ate early as we had not booked... but by the time we finished it was jammed.. Not the... More
