Absolutely Awesome

Every time I stop by Revelstoke, I make the Village Idiot my first stop. Their food is fresh and delicious (my ultimate favourite is the Bacon Double Cheeseburger Pizza) and the staff are so friendly & accommodating. The Village Idiot was recommended to us by a local and we were not disappointed! The pub has a very obscure frontage, we had actually walked past it a couple of times and hadn't looked at it as a good place for food; my how we were wrong! It was packed inside- an already telling sign, and we were very... More

This place had such good reviews how could you not go...well I went and it was awful to say the absolute least. Food was terrible and unless you are looking to be sick in the morning do not even think of ordering anything with meat in it which leaves you with very little option. The alchoholic beverages are way over... More

My daughter and I were in Revelstoke to ski. Had dinner at this fun restaurant in the center of time. It was so good we ate there twice. We sat at the bar. The bar tenders introduced themselves and remembered our names.Drinks and beer were good and reasonably priced. We tried the burgers, pizza and Caesar salad. All were good.... More

Three of us visited this establishment on Saturday and had a very mixed experience. We started off with one drink each and an appetizer of mussels which were really good. Two of us then ordered ribs being told by the waiter that they were very tender and tasty. The ribs arrived with a steak knife which was a good thing... More

What has become an annual weekend-get-away for the girls, this has been our second trip spending both nights at the Villiage Idiot; first night for dinner and drinks, second night for drinks after dinner. All four visits in the last 2 years have been nothing but super fun and delicious food! The staff is incredibly hospitable and professional and the... More

Cool bar with good local brews and decent food and surprisingly large variety. Chair backs are made from old skis. This a small room with little cubby off the bar for those waiting for a table. Good atmosphere.

We stopped for a late lunch while strolling through Revelstoke on a bad snow day. We ordered cheese twisties ,SMALL nachos, a carbonara and a salad. In most restaurants that would be a reasonable lunch for 2 people. We got a large carbonara , 8 humongous twisties, enough nachos for about 6 people and the salad was a meal for... More

We loved the village idiot, the staff are very friendly and accommodating, the food is great as is the beer, gets very busy so if you're hungry get there early. Lovely outside seating area. Interesting decor.

We were in Revelstoke for the night. Many people trapped by bad roads. No hotel rooms vacant. Lots of props gathered at the Village Idiot. Food was warm and nourishing. Service was casual, friendly. Company was fabulous supportive. Good place. I will always go there when in Revvie!
