Staff were so warm and I was quickly at ease even though I went in alone and sat at the elegant bar. It is a classy yet casual ambiance where anyone can fit in. I noticed that a lot of sporty funky locals were there. Excellent selection of wines, beer and cider. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced for... More

First things first: wine is really expensive in Canada compare to the rest of the world. This is a fact. So nobody can expect a wine bar to be "cheap". That being said, the owner (which is really accessible and welcoming) offer a wide variety of wine: the "best of the basic" to the really good french wine. I didn't... More

Had 2 meals here including New Year's Eve - enjoyed both. The food was excellent as was the wine. The first night things were a bit quiet but the service was excellent along with the food so it wasn't an issue. For New Year we had a really good set 5 course menu and again the service was impeccable. This... More

What a find this little French bistro is. The food was authentic French - try the quiche! Benoit's charming sister was there and gave us great service and lots of good stories. We were very impressed with the simplicity of everything. Everything we tried was exceptional. I felt as though I'd gone back to Provence for the evening. Well done!

We were overnighting in Revelstoke and discovered that, on main street, there are many interesting and appealing restaurants. However, we saw Benoit's Wine Bar situated about a half a block off the main street and decide to "drop in" for a glass of wine before going somewhere for dinner ($9 - $10/glass so a bit more than we usually like... We really enjoyed our evening at this fabulous bistrot - delicious wine and cheese plate! Benoit was a delight to meet; sharing his knowledge of the wine we sampled and selected made our visit such a pleasure. We felt transported to France - congratulations Benoit!!

Very nice owner with a lot of knowledge about wine. Very good food served, but it was very pricy. Wine was delicious but around 9 dollar a glass.

I was really surprised to find this true french bistrot in the middle of sledneck city. I went to this place all the winter season long and i was never disappointed. Benoit and his staff are friendly and passionate. The only place in town where you can eat a cheese fondu like in the Alps! You can't miss that! Here,... More
