I've been to The Nomad a couple of times. The burgers are good and filling, and certainly better than the nearby chain fast-food options right along the highway. At the same time they are nothing spectacular or unusual, and tend to be on the greasy side, so I wouldn't rate it as a must-visit. It's a good option for a... More

The burgers here are supposed to be amazing. They were just okay. Better burgers can be had at the Big Eddy.

So I stop here all the time for food for my daughter . The clerks are fantastic, the kitchen staff very pleasant and friendly. This is the first time I have ever found the something less than perfect. Chicken finger portions 3 average size fingers a little space for the price fries as per usual amazing.

Stopped by the Nomad for burgers and fries, expectantly awaiting the delivery of a good lunch after reading the TA reviews. Unfortunately, it didn't happen. We both had the Nomad burger, and we were uniformly unimpressed. The meat seemed mealy and greasy, the toppings were standard fare, the bun wasn't all that fresh, and to be honest, in my humble... I've been coming to the Nomad for the best burgers in the west for the last 6 years. Everytime I visit Revy or drive through I stop in for a burger. Even when I'm on my own I will stop in a get a burger for my husband and bring it home to Canmore for him.

Huge portions ( I had to take half my 2 salads with me for the next day) excellent fresh salads and burgers. Lots of vegetarian menu choices. Very busy place, but we got our food fast. Order at the counter and then seat yourself and they will bring it out to you.

Always good, always consistent, always homemade. Staff is competant, food is quickly served. Food is always fresh. The only negative thing I can say is that they need a better location because the line up is often out the door and everyone is tripping over everyone else trying to get to where they want to go. Apart from that, great... More

Anyone who has driven through Revelstoke on their way to Kelowna/Penticton will know how crazy the Shell/Tim Hortons station is. You want to stop but don't want to get caught up in the "muck" of the parking lot or even across the street and fastfood alley. Save the stress and head down the street 200m to The Nomad cafe -... We found this place while looking around our hotel next door (the Days Inn). What a great find. They have a large selection on their menu for such a small (and assuming "non-franchised") operation. Very fresh and delicious Sundaes!

Basic menu but good portions for a good price and tasty too. Perfect for a mid day meal if you're just looking for something light and quick.
