Just out of sight, but worth seeking out

Just a couple hundred meters out of sight beyond McD's and Timmy's. Nice break from the highway fast food. A lineup at the order counter, but worth the wait.

Found this place by accident, when going for a walk.. decided to try it for supper, i had the fish and chips, and it was as good as it gets, and my wife had a panini with Greek salad,we were both very satisfied with our meals, mine was perfectly done, the batter was crispy without being too heavy, and the fries... Absolutely the best food/service in all the area, we ate here almost daily for the time we skied the area. We phoned in our orders and walked over and picked up our food and ate back at our room. You wont go wrong eating here ! Well priced - Good Service - they close a little early than you would... More

We eat at the Nomad a lot. It is terrific. Whether it is the Tandori panini, Chicken burrito or anything else I have tried it is good homemade cooking. Fries are handcut and wonderful! Service is fast and friendly...plus a frequent diner card is icing on the cake! The Nomad never disappoints and the owners treat their cutomers right!!

I've been to The Nomad a couple of times. The burgers are good and filling, and certainly better than the nearby chain fast-food options right along the highway. At the same time they are nothing spectacular or unusual, and tend to be on the greasy side, so I wouldn't rate it as a must-visit. It's a good option for a... More

The burgers here are supposed to be amazing. They were just okay. Better burgers can be had at the Big Eddy.

So I stop here all the time for food for my daughter . The clerks are fantastic, the kitchen staff very pleasant and friendly. This is the first time I have ever found the something less than perfect. Chicken finger portions 3 average size fingers a little space for the price fries as per usual amazing.

Stopped by the Nomad for burgers and fries, expectantly awaiting the delivery of a good lunch after reading the TA reviews. Unfortunately, it didn't happen. We both had the Nomad burger, and we were uniformly unimpressed. The meat seemed mealy and greasy, the toppings were standard fare, the bun wasn't all that fresh, and to be honest, in my humble... I've been coming to the Nomad for the best burgers in the west for the last 6 years. Everytime I visit Revy or drive through I stop in for a burger. Even when I'm on my own I will stop in a get a burger for my husband and bring it home to Canmore for him.
