Ok for salmon arm

Heard the barley station was the place to eat but no kids allowed. They suggested their "sister restaurant" the wicked spoon. Food was just as good they said. Staff was slow and service poor. Chicken burger good. Very good fries . Lobster grilled cheese sandwich was good but a bit expensive... read more

Just left this restaurant.. They charged us for food that we didn't eat because we complained it was cold but the waitress put words in our mouth that we returned the burger because we didn't like it and then they denied that it was cold. They offered to warm it, but we were really put off by the cold taste.... More

Needed a good restaurant in Salmon Arm during our stopover back to Calgary. Menu was varied. Pastas, sandwiches, some seafood, etc. food was decent, very good service that was very friendly. Not overly busy for a Wednesday but that was fine for us. I wouldn't run back for the food, but the food was hit the spot for an easy... More

During a quick weekend trip to Vancouver we had a detour in White Rock. Decided to check this place out. Very interesting menu. There was 5 of us. We ordered the Farmhouse breakfast, The Wooden Benny and Crab Benny as well as the Wooden Spoon Poutine for the table. Everything was pretty good, except the poutine. I shouldn't say it... More

I tried the Wicked Spoon again, service was great, my mom and I had steak sandwich it was so tough we couldn't eat the steak, everything else we ate was great, my suggestion to the restaurant don't sell round steak and tell me it was sirloin, whatever we tried to eat was not Angus beef, and definitely not sirloin

Based on reviews a year ago decided not to eat here but decided to give it a chance this year. So glad I did! Arrived as the door was being unlocked for the day and naturally it wasn't busy at that time of day. Service was good, food was excellent. I had the Santa Fe Chicken Salad (delish!) and my... More

We had dinner with our sister, ordered the dry ribs, steak sandwich, halibut tacos and chicken and apple quesa dia (sp?). All were really tasty and larger portions than expected for the price. Good value and enjoyable. It is a pretty open concept so is quite noisy, but we had no trouble having a conversation at the table.

One only time we will eat here. Travelling through Salmon Arm with our 9 year old son. We sat on the deck. Service was SLOW, food was overpriced, and portions were TINY. My husband spoke to the manager and she told him that is what it was and that she charges even more for the same portion up the street....Oh... More

The staff is rude, the food is terrible, the buffet is OBVIOUSLY reheated pre-packaged food I could get at Walmart. The staff fat shames customers, the food is overpriced and disgusting, the service is terrible rude servers aside, and I will NEVER give these lowlifes my business again.
