Some days you go, the service is great and the food is brilliant. Other days you go, the service is terrible and the food is cold and stale. I'd suggest going on busier days, it seems like the cooks are more on their game those days.

Went to this restaurant for lunch after grocery shopping. Very easy to find. Well appointed interior. Washrooms were clean as was the restaurant. Pleasant comfortable booths with numerous tables offer a good variety of seating. Pleasant reception and wait staff very friendly and attentive. Three of us had 12" pizzas, mediteranean, meat lover and cheese. Were delivered hot and very... More

The first tipoff should have been the sign which was oval and stuck over the round can of the former East Side Mario's location (which had closed just about as fast as it opened here). You would figure that if you were making a sign you'd make it fit the existing can but that must have eluded the management. However,... More

We reserved a table for an early Mother's day family dinner, but only the first few moments were promising then everything went downhill, as moments later, the restaurant got busy. This establishment is more bar than restaurant with it's new bar-like menu, loud atmosphere and inability to provide restaurant level service and food. The staff was confused and unable to... More

The manager was rude to her staff and aggressive towards us. Very standoffish and came off as not wanting us to stay. Would never recommend. We left before we could eat as they told us there was a 45 minute wait for food. It didn't seem that busy so that was surprising

This is a restaurant that I wouldn't highly recommend but, on the other hand, it isn't somewhere that I would tell you not to go to. The menu has been recently changed and there are some healthy choices. It's just that it's nothing 'special'. The wait staff was very nice and the food came quickly and arrived hot. Would I... More

We had our grandson with us, so we were limited as to where we could go. We fancied a good steak and we needed a child's menu. We were advised by the bartender at the barley station that the Wicket Spoon had excellent food and good family atmosphere. We were totally disappointed. Not sure where the chef got their training... The WORST service and food I have ever had in Salmon Arm. We will never be back and I will never recommend this place to anyone.

The food was fine, servers were very nice and food and drinks came quickly. Decor is nice. Menu was a bit misleading - I ordered a dish that came with pita bread and my Mom had a dish that came with naan. Both breads were identical - I think it was fried pizza dough. It tasted okay but, really? Call... More
