Quaint Country Pub

Rustic and out of the way, Stonehouse is worth discovering. My husbands beef dip was excellent with generous amounts of tender beef and a flavourful au jus. Friends crab and mango quesadillas were raved about. Fish tacos were short on fish and generous on cabbage. You have a choice of grilled or... read more

Set in a peaceful and secluded spot very close to Swartz Bay, BC. Staff and locals are very friendly. The food was delicious although portions are huge!!! Definately recommend the Shepard's Pie!

Been a few times and never wrote a review. Service is always great when we go, they know people have to catch ferries. The courtyard is so peaceful and scenic, great to kick back and have a drink. We went with a friend and found the food expensive, but worth it as it was a step up from standard pub... More

Last time I was here was 2009, so I was great to come back. The setting for this pub is ideal for anyone looking for tasty food in a nice peaceful setting. The staff make you feel like you are at home & highly recommend sitting outside. My wife ordered the chicken burger & picked the fish & chips, both... More

Had a great lunch with my wife and mother. I had the crab quesadilla, my wife had the Veggie burger and Mom had a Salmon salad. All three were delicious and we enjoyed our meal on the outdoor 'fern' patio. Service was prompt and courteous and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We'll be BACK.

My wife and I stumbled across the Stonehouse Pub purely by accident. Hidden away at the bottom of Canoe Cove Rd is the Stonehouse Pub, built as a home in the mid 1930's it's fantastic place to have lunch or dinner.. just minutes from the Swartz Bay ferry terminal. It has 2 outside patios and inside seating when the weather... More

it was a beautiful warm early afternoon and after wandering through Sidney earlier it was time for lunch - our friends took us to their favourite pub. What a great choice. Lots of beer to select from; nice food and a very pretty courtyard. Great friendly service and to top it off, good food. We had fish and chips (great... More

I come from Vancouver where I am blessed with some of the worlds best restaurants ranging from a variety of cuisines... let's just say I was a little skeptical of finding a quality restaurant out in Sidney. But boy, do I ever regret feeling skeptical because stonehouse pub absolutely blew me away! The location is nice and private out by... More

An awesome small old house in a great setting. The food is very good and the staff very friendly. It's very much a locals pub attached to a marina.
