hey, for the price it is great fish and chips. This is one of the best chain fish and chips joints around, worth giving them a go. Fast and friendly and good food!

My wife and our two traveling companions stopped at Salty's in Sidney last week. I just had a taste for fish and chips, and this place looked like it might just produce. Yep. Excellent fish and chips, not too greasy, chips were fried just right and the crusted haddock was excellent. Malt vinegar right on the table, too. The wait... More

Our fish & chips at Salty's was very good. As my husband & I do not have big appetites. The waitress was very helpful in suggesting a way not to order 2 meals. A very friendly and efficient young lady

Our meal was below average. The chips were probably from lunchtime as they were dry and not very nice. The fish was not particularly... More

It was all yummy and service was speedy. The panko shrimp was crispy and the tomatoe seafood bisque was very tasty.

It says on their website 'fresh' fish. Well I saw in the back the fish is actually frozen. It is not fresh at all. As well all the food is from the popular (and available at grocery stores) highliners.....not impressed to be paying high prices for something I could buy and deep fry at home. As well the only options... More

Staying in Victoria for our honeymoon and found this quaint little fish & chips spot. Service was excellent! Very friendly an welcoming :) The Halibutt and chips were the best I think we've ever had...definitely recommend to anyone and we will be returning again next time we are in the area!
