A true dining room with westrn decore

Good food at a fair price. The Austrian chef provides fine meals. Not cheap but very good value. We have eaten there twice

Best seafood soup on our trip along the coast. This is a food place not to drive by Ordered without a appetite and stayed for 3 hours of enjoyment.

After settling into the Yellowhead Motel, and at the recommendation of the Motel owner, we walked to other end of 5th Avenue to the Cariboo Grill. As indicated, the Grill is pricey but well worth the extra expense. We had a wonderful steak/seafood combination which included a soup or salad starter, vegetables and a baked potato with all of the... More

My wife &I I enjoyed the roast beef, done perfectly to our liking, MR. Really busy for a Monday night, the waitresses were actually running until more help arrived. Very clean and nicely finished restaurant.

We split the special. It was awesome. Excellent cook. Wonderful waitress. Fabulous atmosphere. What else can I say? Fine dining - unaffordable, unless you split an entre, like we did.

Beautiful dining room with enormous timber ceiling beams.. We ordered the special, tender, perfectly cooked prime rib and bacon wrapped scallops, Served with caramelized onions and tiny mushrooms. Impeccable service. High quality food in a lovely dining room. Quite surprised to find this in tony, remote, Valemount.

The complimentary bread they serve is amazing. I had a 10 ounce prime rib stead... It was a little pricey at $35+ and my wife had a spinach salad. They weren't able to accommodate her onion allergy, so it was basically bereft of salad dressing. The service was quite good and the log cabin was very beautiful. My wife was... More

We always try to stop here for a meal. Great atmosphere as it is in a log house type building. We had steak special with Sautee shrimp...all cooked to perfection.

Valemount is a railway town so I didn't have great expectations for finding a decent restaurant there on my overnight stop from Vancouver to Jasper. However, I was charmed by this great log cabin of an eating place and by the quality of the food. There was a line-up to get in so reservations may be advised. The menu was... More
