My husband and I have had an opportunity to eat here both in March and just this past weekend. The food and service is second to none. and the value is amazing. We had a fresh lobster dinner on Friday past for just $20. The waitresses as well as the chefs go out of their way to make you feel... More

Unassuming exterior hides a very good restaurant. Chef/owner is highly trained (Vancouver) and loves to mingle with guests. Our food was generously portioned, well prepared, and reasonably priced.

This is our 9 yr old daughters favorite restaurant. The chef usually creates an animal from either apple or lemons. She usually gets treated like royalty so that's why she loves it. We love it because they have great food. It's a small quaint place, so it's recommended that you make reservations ahead of time.

My wife and I found this hidden gem on march 17/2013 and I would have to say we were not dissapointed from the reviews we had heard. With both of us being first time guests to the location we were unsure what to try. The staff took the time to answer our questions and make suggestions on there favorites. For... More

Never expected to find such a gem of a restaurant in a remote part of Canada. Much attention is paid to detail in subtlety of taste and presentation. I was there on a business trip and was recommended this little restaurant. It was so good, we went twice. Prices are reasonable. Portions are satisfying. Menu is varied. I would say... More

Straightforward, unpretentious menu, and food to match. Attentive and friendly waiting staff. Prompt service provided a filling meal bursting with flavour. Each dish seems to be well thought-out and executed. Talking of 'executed' - the namesake lobster is a meal and a half!! Crammed with veg/salad, potatoes/rice, and grilled garlic bread. Our visit was out of season, so the supply... More

My husband and I along with another couple go there about once a month. We love everything on the menu. But usually it's anything with fish. It's always consistent with its food and service. The service is always excellent. Happy to say they have never disappointed. They seem to take a lot of pride in everything they do - it... More

My wife and I have been here twice and will be making the trip back to North Sydney just to come here again. It's got a great little atmosphere but the staff are what gives it the great feel. Richard is a fun and friendly guy who always came out to chat with us and tell us about the food... More
