great seafood. and happy with the no screaming kids policy

Great atmosphere and food is really great. You wont be disappointed. Recently they put in a 'no screaming kids' policy and got some flack. Consider that not all restaurants should allow little ones. Yes.. you can carp about it and talk about how lovely the little babies are, but consideration... read more

I don't understand what the big deal is about this place. I've eaten at a lot of restaurants where the food is far better than here. My husband and I are not big eaters and we asked the waitress to split a two piece fish and chips which was $16.00 because they do not carry a senior's menu. She told... More

My family and I dine here on numerous occasions. This restaurant is one of the best if not the best on Cape Breton Island. If you're a big eater, this is the place to go, The portions are huge, the fish is always fresh and the lobster shrimp clubhouse is to die for. The chef/owner, Richie ensures everyone is satisfied... My husband and I found this amazing resteraunt on trip advisor. It not only met but exceeded our expectations. It was a perfect way to cap a very quick business vacation. From the wonderful food, the amazing service and delightful owners we were beyond pleased. The couple from West Virginia will definitely be back for Lobster Season. A special THANK... More

Awesome food! It's tucked away so watch for the sign or you might miss it! Great care is taken in the preparation as well as the presentation. The Halibut is my favourite. Awesome burgers. Don't miss out on the appetizers. They are unique and are presented beautifully! You will be impressed by the flavours, the atmosphere, the presentation of the... More

This restaurant was recommended and it did not disappoint! Wonderful atmosphere, fabulous owners and amazingly fresh and innovative food! There is limited seating, so reservations are recommended. I hope to get the chance to return during lobster season!!!

I am a celiac. When I saw the chef make curry from fresh ingredients in my view and not leave anything out I knew I was in a good place. He hand delivered it and even brough me more sauce. Fragrant, just the right heat, no shortcuts, rice just right and there was enough on the plate to take the... More

I had both the lobster ravioli and the fish and chips. The portions are large, but the fish was delicious. I found the ravioli, OK, not all that flavourful and a bit overrated. The wait staff is friendly with the "darlins and dears", almost to the over the top stage. If your seated up against a wall, the baseboard heaters... More
