The best fish and chips in the maritimes!!

I love this place! The fish is huge and the home fries are perfect. The staff is always extremely friendly and helpful. If you are looking for great tasting food and an old fashioned diner experience definitely give this place a try!

We eat here on a pretty regular basis. It is consistently delicious, fresh and hot and never overly greasy. The fish sandwich is a fave, as is the 2 piece fish and chips. We also enjoy the whole clams when they have them. For dessert, the pies are always homemade and scrumptious. Do not miss this place if fish and... More

Typical fish&chips restaurant with options (wraps etc). Very busy with many regular customers. Service is outstanding. Don't go for the ambience- But food is good and predictable . I noticed side salad(instead of fries ) was huge. Will eat here on a regular basis..

A friend of mine took me here and we quite enjoyed our meal. The fish and chips were 'buy one get one half off'. The fries are perfect and the fish was fairly decent. I'd highly recommend this place to folks travelling along the highway and just want to stop for a bite to eat.

I recently returned to Canada after years abroad and had a hankering for F&C and recalled my discovery of the Shillelagh years ago in Truro.
