We eat here on a pretty regular basis. It is consistently delicious, fresh and hot and never overly greasy. The fish sandwich is a fave, as is the 2 piece fish and chips. We also enjoy the whole clams when they have them. For dessert, the pies are always homemade and scrumptious. Do not miss this place if fish and... More

Typical fish&chips restaurant with options (wraps etc). Very busy with many regular customers. Service is outstanding. Don't go for the ambience- But food is good and predictable . I noticed side salad(instead of fries ) was huge. Will eat here on a regular basis..

A friend of mine took me here and we quite enjoyed our meal. The fish and chips were 'buy one get one half off'. The fries are perfect and the fish was fairly decent. I'd highly recommend this place to folks travelling along the highway and just want to stop for a bite to eat.

I recently returned to Canada after years abroad and had a hankering for F&C and recalled my discovery of the Shillelagh years ago in Truro. So I returned with my daughter and her family and we were happily reminded of how good the food is at this little gem just off the Trans Canada Highway near the Tidal Bore Inn.... More

I have been visiting this restaurant for many years and since the new owners took over things seem to be slipping. On several occasions the F&C has not been the same quality, quantity and value that I had always enjoyed. I offered to take a friend there the other day and he said "I really had a bad experience there"... More

Fish is nice and big and well cooked. Resonable price. Close to Truro's malls and other restaurants and the highway.
