Best fish and good fries, all seafood is great here. Staff is friendly and you get great service. Had the scallops and fish meal- best ever. Hubby had baked stuffed haddock-- fantastik. Been going here for 20 some years and its still great food!

While the ambience of this Truro restaurant is comfortable, the food does not measure up. It's signature dish is classic fish'n chips which is no less than the heavy battered somewhat greasy fare available in many food establishments in the town. There is nothing special to recommend this well advertised restaurant. I would say that smoke house Willies and certainly... More

The fish is so fresh and the fries so flavourful that you will be smacking your lips as soon as you see someone else's order go by. Servings are quite large so you will not go away hungry:)

Although the service was fast and friendly, the fish and chips were a little too greasy for my taste. The other items on the menu sounded good, however we didn't have an opportunity to dine at this restaurant again. There was also no beer or wine available, only tea and soft drinks.

Amazing! My husband said it was the best fish and chips he's ever had. The staff were exceptionally friendly. The prices are very reasonable. A must go.

My friends took me out to this little strip mall in downtown Truro for my last evening of NS food - I was fully prepared to be dissapointed but it turned out great. Good food - reasonable prices and super friendly staff. I had the digby island scallops and they were great. I would recommend this spot to anyone.

This restaurant is easy to find as it is located on the main highway. There was sufficient free paved parking the evening we arrived; however, I suspect there is a shortage during the demanding times as parking is shared with businesses in the strip mall. The restaurant is tastefully decorated, clean and has a number of levels and separations to... More

We ordered the seafood platter with and extra piece of fish. While this was enough for tow people, the quality was not there. The vegetables were mush and the prawns (shrimp) were as well. Everything is deep fried which was a crime against scallops. The deep fried fish was good but the batter was thick and greasy. Definitely not as... More
