It pains me to give this spot a less than glowing review. I've been going there since I was a boy & whenever I return home to Nova Scotia, try and stop in. We ate breakfast here. The food was good but service was a little iffy. The place was packed and the servers were running non-stop turning over tables and delivering food. They did turn over tables as quickly as possible so we didn't have to wait to get seated and they try to get your order as quickly as possible. It's... More

Great place to dine whatever the time. Food is always fantastic and the staff are very friendly...better than home! You will never regret dining here as my family has been going here for the past 25 years. It only gets better! Fletcher's is a must place to dine whenever you are coming to our home town Truro.

This restaurant was recommended by the front desk of the Willow Bend Motel. The restaurant was easy to find, super clean and the staff was very friendly. Lots of locals eating there so you know this is a good sign! The food was excellent! Highly recommend this restaurant for a good home cooked meal.

Three workers saw me standing at the door, all made eye contact but NONE acknowledged me. Place was half empty. They chose to clear a table, chit chat and walk past me at least twice instead of seating me. Ignorant. Appallingly rude. I left disgusted. So much for trying out a local roadside diner.

My wife loves lobster rolls and has sampled them in many places in NS. The lobster rolls at Fletchers under the new management are simply the best. Much of the fare here is simple cooking for hungry working class folk or seniors who can't afford fancy restaurants. The freshly baked rolls with dinners are excellent and seem to be baked... More

We (group of 14) have eaten here a couple of times or more on a Fri. evening and with only a couple hour reservation we were more than welcome. Great food, service and surroundings, A real down home feeling.

The 2nd visit to Fletcher after the new management. I was so disappointed 6 months ago when the restaurant was taken over by the new owner because of poor service and the lazy daily special. I returned to the restaurant after a couple of my friends told me that it had improved. Well... Let's check it out. My partner and... More

This has always been one of my favourite places to go for comfort food. Since it has been renovated, it is that much better. Everyone is great, the food is good, prices are reasonable. I would highly recommend it for regular food.
