We each get a regular burger and split a side of fries. The burgers patties are fresh tasting and hand formed. The toppings are just the right amount, no gobs of mustard and mayo spilling down your sunday best. Not fancy or trendy, just good food, fast and inexpensive. A bit of a no-brainer. The decor is for sure dated,... More

Just a short way off the main highway in Truro is a real jem of a family restaurant: Fletchers. Yes, you may wonder when you drive up but don't let the outside fool you. Go in and have the Lobster roll, (best ever) and the fish (fresh, well cooked, and feels like they caught it out the back door). Make... More

I decided to give this place another try after 15 years and it is still the same rundown, dated place it was then. It is a family diner with a decent selection of items on the menu. The food is pretty basic with some homemade items but some items are just cooked from frozen. The service was friendly but not... More

I love going out for breakfast! We joined a group of friends with whom we were traveling. The service was friendly and efficient; we were made to feel welcome, almost like one of the family although we were visitors to the town. Breakfast was good, my eggs were just a tad overcooked but I'm very difficult to please. Everyone who... More

This is an old restaurant and it sure looks it. I haven't been here in years and it hasn't changed in many, many years. It is in desperate need of updating, especially the bathrooms. I am not talking major renovations. It just needs to be freshened up. The menu is varied, the waitress brought us a breakfast menu as well... More

Fletcher's is like a home away from home. We go maybe twice a year (usually for their breakfast which is the best breakfast deal in town), but the sincere and friendly staff know me and my friends by name. The food is typical diner food. Nothing extraordinary, but satisfying and good proportions. The best reason to go to Fletcher's is... More

In the era of the all-day brunch it is hard to fine a proper diner serving a good unadulterated breakfast. Fletcher's in Truro does the job nicely. The menu is varied with all the breakfast basics and enough selection to keep everyone happy. The bacon and sausage are high quality and the eggs (we had over easy, sunny side up... More

I hate to write a bad review but our experience here was not good. Servers seemed not interested, never asked how the meal was, cashier never asked how our meal was, place needs a good cleaning, updating etc. I had the fish which was mushy, potato was not cooked and vegetables were overcooked...others at the table had similar comments. It... More
