My boyfriend and I went for lunch at Jo-Anne's. When we arrived we noticed immediately the horrible smell. The waitress was very friendly and efficient even though it was just her working the dining room and cash register and it was a busy lunch run. I ordered the clams and fries and my boyfriend ordered the clams and scallops with... More

I recommend Jo-Anne's the staff are very congenial, the restaurant is very clean. and the food is great. I enjoyed the rappie pie, a local Acadien favorite. But also the cheeseburger was enjoyed. The deserts are to die for Blueberry pie was fantastic and the lemon merangue was equally delicious. Well worth a visit.

We tried the hot lobster sandwich and were amazed at how tasty it was. We were a little taken aback when we first saw the sandwich with the sauce poured over the bread. However, the taste was famtastic!

After a month on the road I got sick of fried fish dinners in every restaurant. Jo-Annes Quick and tasty had a fairly large menu with the usual fried fish, but I ordered the turkey sandwich which was made with real roasted turkey and it was delicious and very reasonably priced. Thank you for some decent food that is healthy.... More

This is definitely quick and tasty food! The service was quick and courteous, and the food we tried on our two trips there was delicious - so great to have all those delicious seafood options! We understand that this is something of an area landmark, and a few of our family members have worked there over the years. Worth the... More

I have been coming to this place for 30 plus years. I so wanted to give a good review for Jo-Annes but I cant. I love how the inside hasnt changed. It still looks cool and clean. The staff are very friendly and try to please. I think where this place is lacking is the managment. It smelled horrible inside.... More

Walked into the 70's. Funny old smell like you walked into your friends grandmas house. Had the hot lobster sandwich, fried clams and scallops, and sweet tea. All delicious. Clams were a standout. Juicy and fresh.

It is probably not fair to rate Jo-Anne's service -- we were there on the evening after Tropical Storm Arthur blew through town and Jo-Anne's was one of the only restaurants with power in the whole town. Needless to say, they were overwhelmed, with both travelers and locals. I will say that the chowder was very good. The homemade desserts... More
