Love the food but not the accessibility

Rappie pie was fresh and so good. The fish and chips were great as well. Love the food. But for a place that attracts mostly older people, they are not as accessible as you would expect. Inside ramp that is too steep and slippery. Needs better rubberized strips or a much more gentle slope. Only one... read more

Hubby and I stopped in for lunch while in the area. I will agree with a previous poster that there is an odd (and strong) odor in the entry way...like overkill of air freshener. Once inside, the air is fresh. Old booths, some in need of a paint job, walls are covered with lovely photographs for sale of local landmarks.... More

Our family visited this restaurant before we returned to the city. This is a popular restaurant and we have been here before. Two people had the hot turkey sandwich ($9) which was very good. Real pieces of turkey. My son had the large clams and chips ($13). Although the clams were good, the amount of clams was small. Never would... More

Tried this once for brkfst, not bad. Went back with guests for dinner, big mistake, four of us and only 1 person happy with their meal. Fried clams were chewy, 2 of us had lobster rolls each 1 had 2 tablespoons of lobster meat. The person that got scallops was happy except that she asked for a glass of seltzer... More

We eat here every time we're in town. Order the fish cakes & beans or the rappie pie. So delicious! Date meringue pie for dessert.

try the Rape' Pie and be sure to have scallops! The deserts are amazing too...you won't have room for all you want to try - so go a few times!

I love their hot lobster sandwich, it's always been a family Favorite through the years and different owners. I will say the portion size has been shrunk with each new owner it seems. New plates being smaller are noticeable to us regulars lol That being said, the flavour is always the same and that means a lot. The desserts here... More

Food is okay but I don't know what the odor is when you walk in, but it's enough to keep me from wanting to EVER go back. Whatever it is, it seems to get worse with each passing year.

This was the best hot lobster sandwich I have ever had. It was served with perfect crisp fries and coleslaw. My friend had an equally good omelet and seafood chowder. We will definitely be returning.

They had fresh clams & scallops. We wanted fresh haddock but they only had frozen available. This is unfortunate because we learned the other seafood restaurants in the area had fresh haddock. Most of the scallops were gritty. The clams were ok but a little rubbery.
