I like Marty's. I like the vibe, the casual ambience and I like the food. But it seems that Marty is taking his fame for granted. The young servers were barely awake and mildly disinterested in serving customers. The wait time for food to be brought to the table was excessive. I was concerned that they had totally forgotten about... More

My gosh- $40 for 2 'kinda' pizzas, 1 water, 1 coke and 2 butter tarts- that took 20 mins to reheat, while the flies buzzed around in the sandwich case. Even the small kid beside me knew the bugs weren't supposed to be there! Ps- don't used olives with pits in them on your pizza- I almost broke a tooth!!

I edited this review at least 3 times, I'll just make it short and sweet. Reasons not to go to Marty's: (sorry but I've been there way to often and yesterday was really the last straw) 1). The other reviewer just might be correct, having 20-something's with hangovers 2). It really doesn't take 35 min to make 3 cappuccinos 3).... More

Walking into empty shop wasn't even acknowledged!..Staff maybe in their 20's probly recovering from hangovers, got my order completely wrong. In servers own words "I got confused", really! Small Latte more than Starbucks..never again.

The restaurant advertises the "Best butter tarts in Muskoka" but the experience of my wife and myself was not pleasant. Their were flies everywhere, landing on the pastries behind the counter, the servers didn't seem to care about hygiene and the butter tart was so bad we threw it in the garbage after one bite. If you want really good... More

Never again. The service was bad and the food ordinary and bland. We waited too long for the sandwiches we ordered and felt the bread was soggy.

To whom it may concern, With no other way to contact you I now tell you the ice build up on your roof has come off damaging your roof......Should inspect before your store becomes a swimming pool.... Hey maybe you can get 4 bucks a piece for admission to your new pool??????

I have Marty's cook book and can bake the buttertarts better than the coffee house.I would never go ther again and buy a $4.00 buttertart. My stepdaughter went there and bought 6 tarts. They were disgusting. There was no filling in them and looked over cooked. Now the kids ask for my buttertarts !!!!!

It was a mistake to have lunch at Marty's but someone had recommended it. We were in the area and the food in this tiny shop with one wall a blackboard covered in visitor-chalked messages looked ok at a distance. We sat inside because the small eating area at the back held both tables and waste bins. Service was friendly... More
