Great Muffin, rude owner.

If you're in Bracebridge and want a really really good muffin (and apple pie) go to Marty's, be warned that he's miserable and rude. His staff are friendly so hopefully you see them first.

I stopped by Marty's this morning hoping to pick up a coffee. The full Cafe was not open it was window service which was fine. Marty was packing up butter tarts and I said " Can I get a..." At which point he interrupted me and said " I am busy now let me finish this". At which point I... More

This place has been around for a while and is very popular. It is a good place for a break during the day. The place is cramped for sitting but cozy. We sat outside and it was pleasant except that the garbage cans were in too close range to the seating. Some smells escaped unfortunately. Hopefully, this has been improved.... More

If you are within 50 miles of Marty's in Brace bridge, turn the car in that direction right NOW. Management if very pleasant and the dessert items are the very best. They are known for their delectable butter tarts and their big-a so apple pie. Of course it goes without saying that all the offerings including the ice cream are... More

Visiting on a Beautiful rainy morning in Muskoka, we decided to treat our young family to a sweet and a hot drink. Upon arrival to Marty's we see a open window with treats in view and an open door. Marty took our order after waiting 10 minutes, 25 dollars for 2 tarts 2 teas and a coffee! But he would... More

Well we had to visit Marty's to see what the hype was about. Our first try they were closed....on a beautiful day and the town was full of tourists?? Our second try we opted for 2 pecan butter tarts = $9.00. The dough was somewhat flaky, there were 2 little pecans on top of a somewhat runny filling. There were... More

We had waiting for two hours for a lunch that never came at the Inn by the Falls. So - this place was wonderful! The staff, sandwiches, coffee and butter tarts were great! I would recommend this place. The tables out back are nice. It isn't glamorous.. but it is very nice.

Worst butter tarts ever. Way over priced. Too much dough and way too little filling. World Class fame- throw it out the window. Don't even think of going there. Throw your money in the river, or better yet donate to the BB hospital.

Had I seen the 'World-Famous' sign before I went in I wouldn't have bothered. In my experience, if you have to put the words 'World Famous' in your name then you generally aren't ! My husband and I were looking for a lunchtime snack and opted for the turkey sandwich and the pepperoni pizza - we both had bottled water... More

The best butter tarts in the world? Possibly! Marty's is a cool place on the main street of Bracebridge, not far from the Bracebridge Falls, and THE place to pick up coffee and sweet snacks in this little town in Muskoka.
