This place was small, and had a lot of flies. They were also sold out of several items like veggie sandwiches ( once they are sold out they won't make more). The staff was rude- aloof and kind of seemed to make fun of us. The butter-tarts were good, but it we'd $50 for a dozen. That's insane! They were... More

Had lunch at Marty's August 18th and do not have a good thing to say. It has been awhile since visiting Marty's and what a disappointment. We had Greek Salad -- which was ok - but the portion was incredibly small for the 10.00 cost -- the table was dirty and we had to clean it ourselves before we could... More

Marty's is famous for the rude service, fly infestation and insane prices but this did not stop me from reaching into my wallet to pay $9.61 for two wonderful butter tarts. While the pastry is thicker than I would prefer, the tarts are scrumptious. I recommend Marty's tarts yes but please bring your sense of humour for the attitude your... More

We made a trip off highway to pick up some tarts since we've had them once before. There were two employees working on Saturday morning of civic long weekend. I ordered a dozen tarts and was informed it was a cash only establishment. I went down the road to get 25$ for the dozen tarts. Upon returning 5 minutes later... More

I get that the baking is homemade but prices are crazily over priced, poor customer service and is there no one to keep the tables clean !? Went for a mid after coffee break with friends - tried to sit on the patio but many of the tables had dirty dishes from previous patrons. Tables inside were all grumbled together... More

I had to ask the kitchen staff to wipe the table and exchange a significantly cracked tea mug. The kitchen staff had very dirty tops on that could have used a good scrub. Very poor presentation in cleanliness or food preparation. Cutlery was dirty too. Avoid this place like the plague!!!

Snotty management. Everything is way overpriced. If you bring your own pie plate Marty will reduce the cost of the pie. Think it is close to $25 for a pie...has been awhile since I asked...never did buy one. No idea how it got such a high rating years ago. Always disappointed and tried it three times. The staff has an... More

I like Marty's. I like the vibe, the casual ambience and I like the food. But it seems that Marty is taking his fame for granted. The young servers were barely awake and mildly disinterested in serving customers. The wait time for food to be brought to the table was excessive. I was concerned that they had totally forgotten about... More

My gosh- $40 for 2 'kinda' pizzas, 1 water, 1 coke and 2 butter tarts- that took 20 mins to reheat, while the flies buzzed around in the sandwich case. Even the small kid beside me knew the bugs weren't supposed to be there! Ps- don't used olives with pits in them on your pizza- I almost broke a tooth!!
