After hearing about this place for quite some time, I decided to check it out on our way back from Kingston. Perhaps it was all the hype surrounding the place but we were left a little disappointed. While it was a little unusual that it did not have any seating, I wasn't surprised by this. I was surprised that it... More

We never miss going here each time we hit BrockVegas! It's old fashioned fish n chips wrapped in newspaper, which are not greasy or soggy. It always tastes fresh and the fries are made from fresh cut potatoes! Uuummmm.... Not to be missed if passing through BrockVegas!

Excellent take out fish and chips.............cod or haddock.....the old fashioned way, take it out to the park near the river and feast in the great outdoors. We never visit Brockville without visiting Don's. Bravo!

Okay, Don's is nowhere near the best of what you'd find in most British or Scottish villages (for one thing most of them have access to really, really fresh fish and the best ones use peanut oil to cook) but it's pretty good and has become a bit of a tradition for us - get some Don's and sit down... Stopped in for lunch and was very pleased with the service and the food. The haddock was nicely done without being greasy. Would recommend to anyone passing through to give them a try. Well worth it

This efficient little operation has been around for many, many years. It was opened by Don and now operated by his son. The menu is comprised of haddock and soft fries. Pair that with a Stewart's or a beer from the Store across the street, and you have the ingredients for a nice lunch at the nearby park overlooking the... More

Don's is a Brockville favourite. For my family it is almost a summertime family tradition to grab Don's fish and chips and head on down to Blockhouse. I have had to go gluten free so can no longer enjoy but still remember how good it tastes!

Best in Town. Friday nights are really busy. Call ahead to place your order. Enjoy them by the water front is a winning combination!

Very pleasant people work there, the food is typical take out. The English style fish is good but not large portion. Their fries are sometimes over cooked and I hate getting the crumbly little pieces of potato that are hard but at least its not frozen fries that would be cheaper to make at home.

When you are in brockville you have to have fish and chips at dons. The fries are home cut and the fish ....mmmmmmm. Take your lunch/supper over to block house island and enjoy, summer or winter!
