My husband and I had stopped by for breakfast on Mother's Day. Restaurant was quite busy and the service was very good. Our server was quick to take our orders, refilling of our coffees and removal of our dishes. We had seen some of the other reviews on this restaurant and had been curious to see if there had been... My husband and I went for lunch today, and couldn't believe the changes made in the past two months..from the sign to the menu and the entire interior, including the washrooms ...all brand new. Our meals were delicious and the service great.

We love going here for breakfast together. I have had way better food, as I do hate cheese slices in my food, which leads the the place being a bit over priced for no reason. However, the staff keep you coming back! Without them, we probably would not go back, I would just cook at home.

The atmosphere is your typical diner nothing special. I ordered eggs benedict which was delicious but was a little taken back when I found out the add an extra .79 for a handful of onions on your hash browns. Even worse was they were not cooked into the hash browns, instead they were cooked to a barley translucent colour and... More

On Sunday, May 26, 2013 our friends joined us for breakfast at Country Kitchen. The atmosphere is basic typical of an old time restaurant. Our server was friendly and efficient I ordered the western omelette with cheese and fried potatoes. I was not impressed with the extra charges, for onions with your potatoes and extra for cheese on the omelette... More

The food is served quickly at Country Kitchen, but it is very greasy. We found it a bit noisy as it seems to be a koffee-klatch destination for the men in the area.

Having been in Chatham for a weekend event, we were looking for a good solid breakfast early on a Sunday morning before heading out on the road. We found Country Kitchen just down the road from our Holiday Inn. Country Kitchen is a charming little diner, unassuming from the outside, but oh my ! Once inside, delightful wait staff, sparkling... The food was great and very reasonable. The restaurant is small and the waitresses work as a team, which is nice to see. The waitress came back several times to make sure we had everything we needed. Everytime we went by, the restaurant was busy. They are only open for breakfast and lunch, so don't plan to go for dinner.
