For Lunch

We were there for Lunch. Service was attentive without being pushy. Excellant suggestion of the Lunch special. Food was all round awesome. Price was up a little bit but that was to be expected.

Recently we had a club anniversary lunch at the woodlawn for 20 + members. the selecting of the menu a few days ahead eliminated the tedious meal ordering and more time was available for what counted most - celebrating. The various meal courses were served efficiently and were delicious. The private room allowed a very uninhibited celebration tremendously enjoyed by... More

Had a great lunch recently at the Woodlawn Inn. I have to say the service was excellent. Our waitress went above and beyond to ensure we had just what we requested...right down to serving a very tasty wine which my friend raved about (I can't remember the name of it). The spinach ravioli with asparagus and crème brulee were wonderful... More

Mother lives close to Cobourg and when Mother’s day rolls around I try to locate something nice for her. On a search of the area I came across the Mother’s Day Buffet at the Woodlawn Inn. I was sold at the pictures on their website and special buffet menu. We had reservations at 11am and we arrive on time. Several... More

The setting of this Inn/Restaurant was a beautiful 'home'. The décor was great, and the waitress lit a fire for us (romantic and cozy). The service was fantastic - and the meals were exceptional. This was a last minute decision to go to this restaurant for our 10th anniversary (we don't live in Cobourg). We each had different meals (4... More

We had Easter lunch here and were blown away by not only the great service but the local craft beers and excellent food. I am looking forward to coming back in the coming months.

Five of us enjoyed our recent evening at the Woodlawn Inn. We ordered from the special Prix Fixe menu and we were not disappointed! Most everything was delicious! The Good! The onion soup was, quite possibly, the best onion soup I have ever tasted (and I consider myself a bit of an onion soup snob!). The sirloin was cooked to... More

Fiveof us had lunch today and everyone enjoyed. I had spicy lamb burger. It wasn't spicy but was delicious. Three had the veal parmigiana sandwich and pronounced it delicious and one had scallops, also deemed very good. As was the crime brûlée for dessert. Service was attentive and pleasant without being overbearing. The building was the summer home of an... More
