We decided on an early dinner in Cobourg and thought we'd try this place. The food is fresh and made in-house. We both had meals from the "British" menu and the food was outstanding. Even the mashed potatoes were great! The patio is quite lovely on a summer day. Will definitely return.

Staying at the campground and found this restaurant on a rainy evening for dinner. All was great - but the curry poutine was truly delicious!! Flavourful - not too hot - great fries and tasty combo of cheeses. Huge order for 8.99 - loads to share. We went back two days later just for poutine and a beer. Don't leave... More

Being familiar with the Cat & the Fiddle in Lindsay, ont, which incidentally has great food, this place was no where near as good. Ordered the Cornish pasty and was so dried out could hardly eat it.

We visit the Cat & Fiddle when in Cobourg. it has a great pub atmosphere and the service is friendly. The food is good and the price is reasonable, what more can you ask?

The inside looked like a place where only 65yr old regulars hang out. Kinda felt out of place. We chose to sit out on the patio. Food was cheap enough but the wings were soo skimpy and small. Just not what were both used to. I had a burger and fries. Both good but should have a no charge option... More

You know you're in a very cozy pub the moment you arrive. Definitiely not in of those large, noisy restaurant. There were 4 of us and we all ordered different things. Everything was good and the portions generous. The bar area is the coziest - lighting and colours make it so - and it has an excellent selection of beer... More

Let me start by saying I have been coming to this place for years and it has had a spotted history with servers, but the latest batch take the cake for being untrained and unprofessional. My friends and I arrived late on a Friday night and we're looking for a table. There was a band playing so we wanted to... More

Classic pub so good for that atmosphere anytime but the wings are so good you need to make a reservation on wing night!

We have been there a few times and ate indoors but it was a beautiful day so we chose the patio and it was delightful lunch and so nice to be able to enjoy the nice weather as well as the good food.
