Nice little pub

Have been to the pub a handful of times since moving to Cobourg a few years ago. Typical pub that is kept nice and clean. If you are wanting a pint in a nice atmosphere then this will not disappoint.

Great location to be able to enjoy a pint of beer with lunch or dinner. Great home cooked comfort food and a friendly atmosphere with a true English pub feel.

Stopped in for a dinner on Easter weekend with a family of 5. Despite the 'adult' appearance of the pub, by which I mean 'place to drink with mates' not 'place to bring your toddler children', the wait staff were super accommodating, finding us a corner table and high chair in seconds. The food was some of the most authentic,... More

food is average pub fare with a huge variety of dishes to choose from. Prices are average compared with other places. Staff are friendly and although its a cozy atmosphere it does need a makeover. They have a great outdoor patio and a nice upstairs dining room for more formal occasions or group parties. Only problem is the washrooms are... More

Awesome home town pub. Nothing the same in cobourg. Great atmosphere super friendly and a nice selection of ales. Just a short walk from the beach in the downtown core. Just a good ole fashion pub

Great pub with a good bar, busy atmosphere. We arrived without a reservation, but wanted to be at the bar anyway, so no disappointments there.

I am not a super fan on the bar space and wouldn't choose to sit at the bar again... just not enough space and had to look through the draft and bartender for the TV. The food was really well done and lots of spins on regular things like nachos and brie cheese dishes. Would like to go back to... More

Great service and cold beer , but thats all you will get here , food lacks in creativity and flavour, quality is just simply not there. For a dinner feature to be all deep fried food is absolutely disappointing, not sure if its just laziness or lack of culinary talent in the back. If it wasn't for the friendly staff... More

Thoroughly enjoyed the great food and beer selections. Excellent ambiance. Reasonable special price for the wings.

We decided on an early dinner in Cobourg and thought we'd try this place. The food is fresh and made in-house. We both had meals from the "British" menu and the food was outstanding. Even the mashed potatoes were great! The patio is quite lovely on a summer day. Will definitely return.
