A group of 9 celebrated the new year at Arthurs restaurant, located in the Best Western. Included was two buffets, one at 6pm and the other prior to midnight. Our group enjoyed the food and there was plenty of selection for the size of the venue. The music was great for dancing to and we all had a great time.... More

Great place to stay. Nice pool and very friendly staff who seem to love their job. Tip leave the hotel for meals its cheaper and there are alot of great places to eat around the hotel and down town Cobourg!

We had some fine experiences here and a couple of bad ones. Get a room on the top floor if possible. It is a very popular summer destination for weddings which is A1 if you are part of the wedding. If you are just looking for a quiet night's sleep less so, maybe if we had thought to tell them... More

In the last year the Sunday Brunch quality has gone down. Not enough choices (salad bar) food that should be hot is not. I am wondering if there is an absence of a qualified chef???? Food is tasteless, the once wonderful roast beef is tough. What happened???

Living close to Cobourg we have not stayed in the motel for years. It is very central and close to the mall. We did go to their weekend buffet every couple of months and on special occasions. Up until last summer the buffet was appetizing, very popular and reasonably priced. Over a couple of visits the selection and quality of... More

Great food, great service, experienced staff. When planning an event the staff is more than accomodating. Banquet hall the best for weddings and corporate events.

We went to the dinner theatre at the Best Western last night. In years past, this dinner theatre has been just about the most amazing value you can get for $50 a person. The meal is a buffet with three tables. One is for bread and salads, one is for meats and veggies and the biggest one is dessert. I... More

Good selection for brunch. Made to order hot items, different selections everyweek. Lots of parking, eash access to 401. Dont forget to cut out your coupons for $3.39 off from the local Cobourg papers. Each guest needs a coupon.

Ordered the 16 oz steak and when it arrived it looked more like an 8 oz steak. The chef confirmed it was an 16 oz, though obviously it was not. Medium rare was more well cooked. It was the worse steak I ever had - price was not cheap either $36. Perhaps it was the long weekend and the regular... More

Arthur's, the restaurant attached to The Best Western Motor Inn in Cobourg, Ontario has little curb appeal, lacks charm, looks basic, but makes a fantastic club sandwhich - the measure by which all Hotel restaurants are judged. In fact, they make a pretty good everything else. Cobourg, for all it's charm, and great beach, is a town with a major... More
