Good, Albeit Inconsistent

My visits here have ranged from Amazing to mediocre at best. I no longer order lattes just to eliminate the room for error. The brewed coffee is nice, as well as the fresh baked goods. They used to have a raspberry 5 spice muffin that I loved that I haven't seen in a while...

Nice little spot with great coffee and tea options and plenty of space to have a meeting or do some studying. The authenticity of it felt better than going to a cookie cutter starbucks.

Love love love coffee. But when I came here, I had kalahari rooibos. Great cup of tea though. Most of all, the atmosphere is ideal. The design of this coffee shop reminded me of Africa.

Great place to drop in for a coffee an muffin. Their own coffee blend...great. Service is very friendly , can be a little slow, but that's Ok. Life in Collingwood is a lot slower than a big city, Tsang God.

In addition to the many choices of coffee and teas, Ashanti has wonderful baking, wraps, sandwiches and a daily soup. If you are fortunate enough to be there on a day that they have the Thai Curry Chicken soup - try it! Fantastic! I can see where on review thought it was not as cozy as the Thornbury site -... More

Wonderful atmosphere, great drinks and pastries. We always stop by when we're making our way home from a trip in Blue Mountain. Today we had a cinnamon raisin muffin and lemon square. For drinks, chai latte (Ashanti makes lovely ones), an espresso, and a tea. Definitely a must!

Many coffee options, unique tea drinks, and little extras for your hot chocolate. Lots of tables. Great place

This restaurant is much bigger than Thornburg which makes it feel less warm and welcoming. I had a chai latte which was good but almost tepid. It feels like you are sitting in a warehouse. They have all the space - needs comfier chairs and a fireplace. It was so cool in there I did not take my jacket off.... More
