First of a 3 day visit to Collingwood

I did some research before going to Collingwood and this was one restaurant that I thought we should try. We weren't hungry for a full meal so just ordered the cheese board. Our waiter Rob suggested a wine to pair with it. Everything was delicious and we added the pork taco as well. We enjoyed a... read more

Very charming place, my wife loved it! Reasonably priced, especially compared to the Village. The food was all made from scratch; and the menu while small, there was a little something for everyone. Our meals were really great, another place we would visit again!

Found your lovely establishment through a combination of Google and Trip Advisor and based on a read-through of the menu, booked a table of 11. We had originally reserved for 7:30pm, but due to a scheduling conflict, requested a change to 5:30 pm, which you graciously accommodated...thanks again for that. We were seated at a beautiful table, inside, in front... More

Hi Susan, Thank you for your feedback, we will be sharing it with our team. We absolutely agree on the housefly issue - it's been a terrible summer for them here in Collingwood and we're amping up our efforts to keep them away. Our burgers are our signature and we are truly sorry we weren't able to meet not only... More

Just a perfect spot for a meal. Everything we ordered was well prepared, tasty and good value. Service was great as well. I'll definitely be back when i'm next in Collingwood.

I had lunch on the lovely patio at this quaint restaurant. The service was very good ! I ordered the very tasty soup which could have been served at a hotter temperature. The shrimp taco was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented! I would definitely recommend this eatery.........

We feel The Tremont Cafe has slipped in quality since our first two visits, which were excellent. A few issues: The menu has not changed at all from what we could tell. Dishes that seemed appropriate in winter time (heavier meat dishes with root vegetables and grains) are still on the menu whereas lighter seasonal summer dishes have not appeared.... More

Ok. So we decided we felt like grilled calamari, and got pointed in the direction of this place just off the main street (Hurontario) in Collingwood. (Thank you Laura). IT WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! Hence the upper case. Came served with nicely done Chorizo sausage on a bed of greens which only added to our delight. We were also smitten by... More

My husband and I were looking for a light meal after attending a wedding in Collingwood. The Tremont did not disappoint. We enjoyed a warm summer night on their patio while eating perfectly cooked scallops and a spicy seafood curry. My husband's salmon was slightly over-done and his wine was warm, but overall it was an enjoyable experience.

Our go to dining spot, the Tremont Cafe in Collingwood let us down. We ate there on June 24 we made a reservation on line about 1 week ahead and never heard back, so we phoned! A warming sign that no one was in charge? We were greeted warmly by Melinda and we saw our two "chefs" who had been... More
