Description: The Huron Club embodies what Collingwood is all about. It's a family business that has that family touch. Every diner's experience is personal. The staff are engaging and friendly, the food is fabulous, and the prices are superb for what you get. Not to mention the local live music (available 5 days a week, Wed-Saturday nights, as well as over Sunday brunch), creating that comfy-cool atmosphere. It's casual, but yet, you'd be right at home for a special occasion like a birthday dinner or anniversary, and definitely suitable for a business lunch or dinner. They also have a beautiful events gallery upstairs for functions of any kind (complete with multimedia equipment for presentations). Their patio is a summer highlight and the building itself has such an interesting history and feel to it (as one of Collingwood's beautiful heritage buildings). Overall, a wonderful place to go for any occasion, big or small.

Dropped in for an unplanned lunch on Friday afternoon - after reading on TA that it was good. Had the French Onion Soup which was outstanding (it apparently takes 24 hours to make the homemade broth) and filling. Also had the spicy vegetable soup (daily special), grilled cheese sandwich (whole wheat bread) and fries which were all excellent! Attentive and... More

Stopped in for a bite to eat for lunch. Great burger, great beer and bartender was super friendly. That's all I expect and expectations were met.

After snowshoeing and before outdoor skating, we decided to warm up and have lunch at The Huron Club. It was a Monday, and no problem at all to get in - we settled in the bar area at pub style raised tables. The bar is very nicely designed, and there were a couple of well placed TVs to watch clips... Everything we tried was great, I tend to make a meal out of a couple of appetizers for the variety and they have live entertainment on the weekends as well as a night or two during the week. Full bar and a good number of brews on tap, so you can't go wrong here.

The food is very good, there's lots of nice organic beer and they have live music 3-4 nights/ wk and also on Sundays for brunch. Last visit i had the French Onion soup and it was one of the best i have had. Our table ordered lots of appetizers - calamari, wings, ceasar salad & deep-fried brie with crispy bread... More

My wife and I had stopped into the Huron Club in July and sat out on the patio in the early afternoon. Both of us were very happy with our choices, mind you we proably shouldn't have had the nachos first, man were they filling! Fast forward to October, we were taking my wife's parents for a bit of a... More

My husband and I have been at The Huron Club several times--we were there last night, October 9th. We had Venison Shepherd Pie, Butternut Squash soup, Yam Fries with Garlic Parsley and Lime& Chili Dip. This was the first time we tried Vension Shepherd's Pie, and it was amazing--tasty, delicious, cooked to perfection!! The Butternut Squash was delightful, full of... More

We have stopped at the Huron Club before and have always enjoyed it. The club is well appointed and has a very friendly atmosphere. The beverage menu is excellent and carries everything you can imagine in the drink line. The dinner menu has popular favourites with a twist here and there. We have eaten here before and found that this... More

We arrived shortly after 7 to find the bar area of the Huron Club packed with what appeared to be the "regular's". One server suggested they were the after work crowd, but judging by the average age, I would guess that they were the 'after the links bunch'. We did not have a reservation, but were invited to have a... More
