Description: The Huron Club embodies what Collingwood is all about. It's a family...
The Huron Club embodies what Collingwood is all about. It's a family business that has that family touch. Every diner's experience is personal. The staff are engaging and friendly, the food is fabulous, and the prices are superb for what you get. Not to mention the local live music (available 5 days a week, Wed-Saturday nights, as well as over Sunday brunch), creating that comfy-cool atmosphere. It's casual, but yet, you'd be right at home for a special occasion like a birthday dinner or anniversary, and definitely suitable for a business lunch or dinner. They also have a beautiful events gallery upstairs for functions of any kind (complete with multimedia equipment for presentations). Their patio is a summer highlight and the building itself has such an interesting history and feel to it (as one of Collingwood's beautiful heritage buildings). Overall, a wonderful place to go for any occasion, big or small.

Warm atmosphere, cosy, ideal for a group of tired bodies, weary from shifting furniture, scrubbing, etc.

As an out of towner who frequently visits Collingwood we only visit this place because it is within walking distance to our Aunt Verna's Beech Street home. We have had numerous get togethers with former co-workers over the years but we were disappointed with the treatment received last year for Auntie's 90th Birthday. Although in the planning months ahead, and... More

we used to stop into Huron Club quite frequently however the last number of visits have been disappointing both in terms of the food quality and service. the last time we waited an inordinate time for our meals and only one entrée arrived. by the time my entrée arrived, my husband had finished his meal. the service is inconsistent- seems... Upon arrival in this woodsy warm restaurant we were hospitably greeted and seated at a high top by the window ready to peruse the menu and listen to the specials of the day over a perfectly poured Guinness and chilled Chardonnay. My partner ordered the smoked salmon Benedict special that came with a tastefully novel twist. Instead of nestling the... More

We stopped in for lunch. The place was mostly empty and we were served right away. I had a salad that was delicious, and my girlfriend was also happy with her food. The have a dining area and a lounge area, but it's more like a traditional upscale resultant and bar than a private club.

I recently treated three clients to lunch here. The menu is great, the food well prepared, and the service is excellent. I also had lunch here with my 8 year old and a friend and I was very impressed. Professional and friendly staff really made my two experiences at The Huron Club very enjoyable. Their Club Burger is delicious as... More

Definitely a must when travelling in Collingwood. Chef uses fresh local products and food is always delicious. Try the salmon lettuce wraps...they are yummy. Love the wait staff, all very lovely and well trained. The bartender is excellent. Always smiling and quick to serve....very professional organization.
