Excellent atmosphere! Great service!

Fabulous - they have redeemed themselves for our less than stellar meal this summer (the smoky braised lamb barbacoa was too hot to eat - be warned - only for those that love the heat)! It should be described as an extra hot dish - not everyone can take that much heat. We actually traded meals... read more

This appears to be the only place of its type for miles. I highly recommend getting a reservation. Sauce for oysters memorable but PEI oysters are, well, PEI oysters. Duck crepe appetizer was special. Catch of day rather nice and interesting. Butter tart was large and memorable. Cappuccino needed "help" but that could be regional issue. Regular coffee memorable.

This restaurant is outstanding. Creative cooking. A standard that you wouldn't expect in a small town. Derek and Diane have been running this restaurant for years and we have never been disappointed, except when we couldn't get a table, which can happen often during the summer months. Great place for a special occasion dinner. Beautiful views of the sunset from... More

You don't have to be overly dressed, so don't be shy about getting in there. The food is spectacular - Local and Organic when available. Beautiful scenary. Great friendly service. Enjoy!!

sat on the patio this time, lovely view and a nice breeze. Service was good but then fell off when 2 tables showed up, not sure if that's because I was a lone woman. Dinner was good but the meat had a fair amount of gristle, unlike my first time. The best crème brulee in Ontario.

Could not eat steak without spilling fries. Desserts and coffees overpriced. Meals are too. Is this best for Kincardine?

Good, fine dining and a stunningly beautiful view of the lake/sunset. Everyone enjoyed their meal, with lots of local meat and produce and a nice menu.

We had dinner on the patio last night and it was amazing. I only wish that the shrimp cocktail had been on the menu, as I had wanted to try that. Maybe next time

It was a beautiful summer evening so we reserved a table out on their covered porch. This porch overlooks the lake; an amazing location. My husband and I were greeted right away and shown our table. We were given time to look over the wine list before having to select our meal. As we sipped our wine, a plate of... More

My husband had the bison, and I had two appetizers, as I do not eat red meat. There was only one chicken choice that didn't excite me, and there were no vegetarian choices on the menu, although a vegan option was offered verbally after I had chosen the appetizers. My appetizer avocado salad was OK, but not worth the money... More
