Excellent!

My husband and I went on a whim to celebrate our anniversary, and we were not disappointed! The food is a little pricey, but well worth it, the presentations were beautiful and the food delicious. The service was fantastic.

Atmosphere, friends and service were exquisite BUT the food and portions had a lot to be desired. I had the salmon which was flavourful but where was the veggies. Desert lemon pie was delisse but small and couldn't find the sorbet. Oh there it is smaller than a golf ball.

I really enjoyed my food and had a great experience. They have a good selection of food on their menu, and do a great job for a small town resturant. The only reason I gave them a four is that I found it a bit on the pricy side...otherwise 5/5 on everything else.

Had only heard about how good this restaurant was. Was not very positive at first glance, "it looked like the bareet house with a good view" we were 4 man who had not previously booked table, but we managed in anyway and was even hungry. We got a very nice service and the food was served fairly quickly. Got a... More

This is a first class dining experience, either in the dining room or on the patio. My wife and I ate on the patio and had an excellent meal while being treated to watching the sun set over Lake Huron. Menu choices are interesting and varied, the food is delicious and in generous quantities, and service is fast and friendly... More

We made a reservation at The Brasserie based on Trip Advisor reviews, which recently have been mixed. The restaurant is housed in an older style home on the water and has a spectacular covered verandah where you can dine. We chose to eat inside as it was a cool evening. The ambiance and service were stellar. The menu selections were... More

Wife and I decided to celebrate our 32nd anniversary in Kincardine for the Scottish festival so needed a fine dining venue to go along with the trip. There were a number of reviews on T.A for this restaurant, some not so good but most, positive so we gave it a chance. We are glad we did. Service was friendly and... More

We received a gift certificate and visited with a couple of good friends. Staff was very friendly and answered any questions we had with good knowledge. Service was very prompt and the dinner was very well presented and most importantly, delicious. I would say the prices were a tad high, but bearable. We will return.

this was my 5th time dining at this restaurant and unfortunately the last 2 times did not impress. The sauce on the chewy, sinewy Bison was a little too heavy on the overly hot, spicy garliced balsamic and the lobster risotto was more cilantro than any lobster, instead of enhancing I found it to be overpowering to the extent I... We have to say that this has been the best meal we have had in years at a restaurant . From start to finish loved every bit !! Our appetizer was different and so flavourful gnocchi , fresh bread ! We had steak and pork , veggies were cooked perfect , fries that came with the steak were amazing !... More
