Enjoyable

I don't enjoy many restaurants, but I did enjoy my meal at King Crab. It was flavourful and attractive and the quantity of food was just right. It is expensive, so we won't go often, but it is nice to find a place where the quality of food matches the price.

This place is magical and we go often! You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but our favourites include: the rainbow trout, truffle mac & cheese, coconut crusted shrimp, grilled watermelon salad and escargot tower! The service is always great. The open kitchen is a nice feature.

This was our second visit in 3 years to celebrate my wifes birthday. Our first visit was quite memorable on a positive note. Cannot say the same on this visit. We chose a Monday night for the 30% discount. There were 5 of us. We each had a glass of wine and only 1 person had an appetizer. The bill... More

Went as a group of four. Two ordered the seafood bisque as an app (nice tang and texture, and a large serving), one had a salad (loved the prosciutto in it) and another had the escargot tower (amazing!). Our mains were: prosciutto-wrapped monkfish on fingerling potatoes/poblan/corn (fabulous); sea bass; the crisp salmon (special); and seafood gumbo (not actually a soup,... More

Small portions, small tables, great service....not worth the second mortgage I had to take out to pay the bill.....go to the keg or golfs steakhouse if you want bang for your buck! Ps the lobster wasn't cooked right, but the steak was great (even though it was smaller then the size of a deck of cards).

In the summer I love to bring people to the outdoor patio, in the winter it's the cosy interior that oozes warmth and great smells from the open kitchen. Here's something you should know about this restaurant; you can spend a little or splurge a lot - it depends on you and your dining mood. I've done both, and have... More

This was our first visit to King Crab. My husband and I certainly enjoyed the food. The service was friendly, the atmosphere is cozy and warm, and the food served was tasty and hot. Nice wine choices. Great early week discounts on the food. 30% Monday, 25% Tuesday and 20% Wednesday. Check with them to confirm discount.

Looking for a special place to have a relaxing dinner and visit we tried King Crab for the first time! The ambiance was great with light jazz playing in the background. The service from Chris was attentive but never hovering. We anticipated a quality meal from the reputation but the biggest surprise was the portions! Starting with a creole kicked-up... More

For my wife's 70th.birthday we made a reservation for four at this restaurant, since we had a gift certificate. We made this reservation using an online reservation system, and our reservation was confirmed. When we arrived on time, the unfriendly manager told us he had no record of our reservation and there was no table available. We showed him a the... More

This place never fails. Always consistent from start to finish. Most of the menu items are made in-house including desserts. Likely the best thing is their home made soup, yes, home made. Soup changes everyday and you could make a meal out of them. They're that good. Hats off to Josh, he's brilliant on the soup creation. Back soon!
