Visited this restaurant in July while staying across the street at the Hampton Inn (a great hotel, with the best price in KW btw). We could see the restaurant from our room window and, with its impressive old school building look, decided skeptically that we would give it a try for dinner. I say we were skeptical because it was... More

My husband and I went for dinner. We arrived at 5pm and didn't have a reservation and lots of places but by 6pm when we left you would need a reservation. Service was prompt and efficient. I had the crusted panko wild pickerel with wild rice & vegetable stir fry with a white wine tarragon butter sauce. The pickerel was... More

Initially we went to this restaurant because they promote buying local produce and products for their establishment. Also, they refurbished an old yellow-brick school house and made it into a hip restaurant. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was relaxed but sophisticated and the service was very good.

We had several unique dishes of locally sourced foods. They were very tasty and beautifully plated. The service was great. There could have been a few more, non-soda machine, non-alcoholic beverages available.

Their focus on sourcing locally is commendable and combining this with a wonderful sense of culinary creativity makes this restaurant an absolutely wonderful experience.I always take my out of town visitors here and they are always very impressed with the experience. My favourite dish is the fish tacos!

We ate at this restaurant before heading off to the Big Music Festival concert, and I only wish that we had a little more time to enjoy our food...which was not the restaurant's fault. We actually happened in by accident, since the other surrounding places very quite full. The people up front and our waiter warned us before sitting down... More

Finally had a chance to try this out! We went date night Wednesday two dine on 3 course meal for $49. As my husband said it should be all you can eat for $49. I had heard it was more upscale, but overall the menu prices seemed reasonable the quality you would receive. The date night menu is limited, but... More

This place inhabits a world of authenticity in every respect I can think of. Start with the beautiful old-time school house, complete with indoor tin ceiling. The owners saved this from the wrecking ball, and still honor the last graduating class of 1953 when they come to dinner. "We're all about preserving," the owner Cort Desautels told our banquet group.... More
