Best butter tarts I have ever eaten! Great soup. Bread is home made. We try to have lunch there every time we are on Midland.

Went here with my wife and two kids a little while ago for lunch. Didn't order elaborate meals and the kids shared one together. Total bill was over $50.... for lunch... and we didn't bring anything home with us. Normal portion sizes. Food was average at best. Coffee was average as well. Cute decor, friendly staff, but they'll either have... More

We had heard about the cafe on the news and while out on a motorcycle ride we decided to test the butter tarts. We were a group of 13. The owner tried very hard to accommodate all of us together but it was noon on a Saturday so we knew it was impossible. We can't say enough about the butter... More

We came to midland searching for a place for breakfast; the lady bug cafe caught our eye. The breakfast menu had your typical selection of breakfast items, we ordered the 2 eggs with potato and bacon. We placed our order at the counter, and the staff was friendly and took our order. I do think with the number of staff... More

This place has really cool, tasty buttertarts, but other than that I find they are lacking a little bit. The staff never seem very happy to see customers. It's cute looking inside, but also a little bit awkward to maneuver around the furniture and wall in the middle to order and pay for your food. I kind of wish they... More

We have gone to Lady Bug Cafe many times for the Tuesday evening music sessions. Soup, sandwiches, salads and desserts are great to enjoy while listening to local musicians. Last summer the buttertarts from Lady Bug came second in the Buttertart Festival competition. First place went to a lady from Barrie thus Lady Bugs' are the best in Midland!!

This was a kind of serve yourself sandwich soup and salad place. The décor was turn of the century, very pretty. I had the roast beef sandwich which I had to stop for another on my way out of town. The harvest salad looked amazing. A word about adding a soup for 250 to your sandwich. You get a tiny... More

I need to preface my review with one hard core fact: I am the Queen of local shopping. I support small, independent and locally owned businesses and the only time I choose otherwise is when I receive poor Customer Service. Even in times when I can find the items I am looking for at reduced prices at big box retailers,... More

Just love this place. Food and service are excellent. My favourite cafe when I visit my cousin. The ambience is so peaceful. Most of their food is from scratch and their butter tarts are awesome.
