Just Okay

We had a table of 5 on the deck. Gorgeous views at the marina. The restaurant outside was full but they had no trouble accommodating us within 5 minutes. The service was good with a reasonable wait for first drinks. The menu needs a good chef and an overhaul. We ordered a selection of items to... read more

Picked the Boat House because of its location near the dock. Looks like a typical dockside restaurant, inside and out. We arrived late on a Sunday about an hour before closing and most people were packing up to go home. The server was pleasant, the menu – appetizers, salads, burgers, sandwiches, pizza, and pasta – is what you would expect... More

Had lunch with a friend today and we both enjoyed our meal and wine. The service was excellent. The view of Midland Bay is beautiful.

Well scenery bumps it up huge to a 4 because the harbour front is beautiful! The food itself was way overpriced .. We had fish and chips it was 17 bucks. We felt this was too expensive for what you got, very heavily battered fish and not many reheated fries. So good was probably a high 2/5 and the view... More

This place has changed hands many times over the years, along with names. I can only look at it through the lens of a local. The food is average and the service can be slow to average. The prices are higher than Kelseys or Boston Pizza. The patio is a nice place to sit and eat but still the whole... More

We ate at this restaurant for lunch. Everyone in our group enjoyed their lunch. Was extremely grateful for the attention given to my son's nut allergy. Great food and great service! Try the garlic bread! Yum

Went for dinner out while camping nearby! Had heard the ads on the radio so many times. Service was great, Jennifer was so friendly, but the food was less than desirable. Sorry we wasted the $100! Won't be dining here again, the fish must have 3lbs of breading on it, before you even get to the fish. The quesadilla has... More

Dropped in here for dinner. Large patio outside overlooking the docks. Great atmosphere! We sat inside as it was getting cool. Lots of space inside the restaurant and a large bar. A very busy restaurant and we had made reservations beforehand. We both had the spareribs and they were fall off the bone with seasoned fries and home made coleslaw.... More

Great Choice before heading off to King's wharf Theatre . Excellent service and we were able to leave in good time to get to the show. Service and food were all good.

A "value" restaurant, attractively located at the harbour. Five of us had dinner at the Eatery on a sunny mid-summer evening. The sun was setting over the harbour and the live and canned music was bearable. (suggest to get a table away from the music though if you want to communicate). It took us awhile to read through the whole... More
