It might be easily overlooked especially if you're used to going to chains like Tim Horton's but the coffee is decent, the sandwiches are tasty, the daily soup options offer some great variety and the pecan tarts are out of this world. Light buttery flaky pastry contains the sea of sweet syrupy goodness within. Another bonus: the bathrooms are always... More

Every time I go to/from Toronto, we always stop here. I especially like the date cookies but even moreso, I love their large slices of tasty cheesecake made on the premises. Soups are delectable and we often take an extra egg salad sandwich (on fresh homemade bread) with us for later that day. I'm salivating just thinking about their food.... More

My husband and I stopped by here on our way up North to visit some family. I had the potato soup with the special and my husband had the squash soup with a turkey wrap. The wraps are made fresh right infront of you and the soups were both homemade as well. Which is a nice change from the prepackaged... More

I was very impressed by the restaurant since it caters to diabetic customers. I had a piece of their diabetic cake, and it was superb. Thanks for caring about us.

We were passing through Parry Sound on Labor Day 2013. Most restaurants were closed for the holiday. We found our way to Richard's Coffee, which is located in the local Bus Terminal along with other eateries. The prices were very reasonable, the waitresses were friendly and the fare was all homemade. The portions were generous. The atmosphere was relaxed. We... More

First time visit... and will definitely go back. Great for a simple lunch or breakfast. You can never go wrong with a fresh egg salad sandwich. Large variety of soups to try, food was good, service was pleasant. Very pleased with this café.

I used to like the food here a lot, but over the last couple years it's been consistently mediocre to poor; I continue to try it once in a while in hopes that it has improved, but it hasn't. The restaurant is a cafe style, think doughnut shop without the branding, quite unremarkable but not offensive. A Greyhound kiosk is... More

Have been to Parry Sound many times and ALWAYS have to get a buttertart from this place. One of the best, beats out any farmers market or bakery miles around.

The service is terrible and the food is alright but getting worse. 5 staff members will be standing around with a line up of people and they'll ignore you until you request help and once you order, they'll move really slow to assist. I've tried this place about 5 times now (its on route and I'm not a Harvey's or... More
