Great location

Great location. Service is decent, not enough places to eat outside, that's for sure (when the surrounding area is so beautiful why wouldn't the majority of your seating be outside?) Mostly deep fried foods - fish, burgers, fries, tiny coleslaws & beans.

Relaxed atmosphere, amazing view in the heart of the 30k Islands Parry Sound. Pickeril (unsure of spelling) is the best I've tasted....baked beans are to die for...ample serving...you won't leave hungry

We arrived by private boat and were met by owner Paul and super employee Dan. Paul gave me good guidance via VHF radio and both gentlemen were very experienced in finding us suitable dock space. We enjoyed our pickerel and chips dinner along with the quick, friendly service. We stayed overnight, enjoying the ambiance and atmosphere of this legendary location... More

Location is the attraction for this restaurant. We had pan fried fish that was flash cooked in oil. Ick and tasteless. We have been on 2 previous occasions and food experience was better. For 25.00 each we will probably not be back unless just for drinks. Heard from locals that business is slowing down. Can appreciate how come from our... More

Henry's is located on Frying Pan Island in Georgian Bay & is only accessible by boat or sea plane - and traveling there is half the fun. There are plenty of dock slips so docking should not pose an issue. It was our first time there and it has become for many "just one of those places you have to... More

The food here is very tasty. I had the poutine and pickerel. While there may be similar food at a more accessible location, Henry's offers an exclusivity that will leave a lasting impression.

Henrys probably won't win many awards from haute cuisine magazines and the like. But that's not the point. This is good place to gather with friends and family to enjoy some good fish and chips with very good beer. The menu offers something for everybody. But a large part of the charm is the unique setting. Consider for a second:... More

There are lots of ways to get there. (it is on an island) A water taxi from Parry Sound goes daily and the Chippewa cruise boat goes also. The best trip is by airplane from Georgian Bay Airways. We flew in our own floatplane which was the way to go. This a local favourite for fish and chips primarily but... More

Had a Fly N Dine on a fine August afternoon. Second time to Henry's and got there early, 4:30pm, so it was quiet. Service was no different...amazing, quick and friendly above and beyond. Server Sam was a delight, pan fried pickerel was everything you've read about. Owner Elliot saw us off at the dock, really can't top the existing accolades... More

We took the MV Chippewa III to Henry's from Parry Sound. 2 1/2 hours each way......very long boat ride on small uncomfortable plastic chairs. This restaurant is not accessible. There is an uphill climb on rock from the dock to the restaurant, then a large staircase to climb. There were 7 in our party. We all ordered the deep fried... More
