When your really hungry, this is the place.

Nice large eating area in a busy truck stop local. A large (but very good) portion size awaits the first time visitor. The meals are good, service friendly and on Sundays you need to time your visit between the various church crowds as this is one of their favourite haunts.

I have been twice now. Both times i have had the poutin. It was delicious and reasonable for the portions. The portions are huge. The wait is pretty long, likely cause they are usually busy. The staff is nice just busy and they are going through some renos. I will definitely be going back.

We've eaten here several times, including even on Christmas Day when we wanted someone else to do the cooking, and when other restaurants in town weren't open. The menu is extensive, offering the wide gamut of typical truck stop meals. Their turkey dinner with all the fixings was very good, and of a generous quantity. The hot turkey sandwich was... More

Typical truck stop menu. Overall consistent family oldfashioned big plates. The clubhouse comes with real white turkey meat and lots of bacon. The pies are homemade and I can attest to the taste of the butterscotch as I make it myself. It was a huge portion with great buttery taste. Not as dark in colour which comes from using dark... The big stops are always consistent with good portions and many choices. I use the big stop across eastern Canada and the US.

We thought that the food at a truck stop would have a certain cachet. It did. In terms of food, if you want to have a typical 1950's restaurant meal, this is the place to go. The menu items are generic -- fish and chips; turkey dinner; clubhouse sandwich; burgers and fries; mashed potatoes and gravy; cream of tomato soup;... More

We arrived shortly before noon and ordered 3 regular breakfasts and a small salad. An hour later we were still waiting and the people around us were ordering and eating lunch. We were about to walk out after waiting 65 minutes when finally our food came. The breakfasts were cold and the bacon was rubbery and undercooked. The small salad... More

I went here for breakfast , because they had always been good before, the eggs and home fries arrived cold.... not to appetizing. I was in Pembroke for three more days and I never went back.
