A great find in Pembroke!

Our family was in Pembroke for a hockey tournament, and we visited Klaesis based on the reviews on TripAdvisor. Great decision! We liked it so much we came twice in one day - first for coffee and pastries, then later for lunch of sandwiches, schnitzel and homemade carrot soup. Everything was... read more

I love this little bakery. It's cute, the staff is friendly, the atmosphere is very comfortable and the food is quite good! It is one of my favourite escapes when accompanied by a book. They also have absolutely delicious baked goods and desserts here. Definitely worth a visit! The only (and I mean ONLY) downfall is that they only serve... More

I've never had a bad dessert from this bakery and my sister-in-law gets her pasteries here consistently when we visit.

Came across this place with my girlfriend, and decided to stop in there and check it out. Very cute interior. Also had a nice selection of breads that were baked in house, and a nice assortment of pastries. We split one of the mousse cups, and enjoyed it. Bought some bread for a reasonable price. Had a coffee, which was... More

My dad and I always visit this small bakery/cafe when we are in the area. Off the main street but easy to find. Great homemade soups and sandwiches made with homemade bread. This is not a fancy place but the food keeps locals returning.

A friend introduced me to Klaesis and I've shopped there almost every week since! We love to pick up their goodhearth bread which we eat fresh for a day then cut up and use for french toast. Delicious! Their restaurant part has excellent meals, at very good prices. Their cakes are excellent, I love the little individual desserts they make,... More

We really enjoy their breakfast. They have awesome fresh baked breads and desserts. Only one issue... service is lacking. Some friendlier service would be nice once in awhile.

What a wonderful find! Following a meeting, I googled local gluten-free and found this wonderful bakery. I'll definitely be back! I ordered bean bread, buns, ginger cookies, and pumpkin pie - all delicious and all gluten-free. The service was incredibly helpful and the bakery has a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. If you're in the area, I highly recommend a visit.

Dropped in here for a lunch with my folks and was pleasantly surprised by the excellent baked goods and hot lunch options for a reasonable price. A lot of locals in the tables surrounding us showed the loyalty of the clientele and the quality of the food served. Had the club sandwich combo with drink and rice/veggie soup and was... More

We often drop in at Klaesis Bakery for their baked goods. My husband enjoys the cheese pretzels. Myself I don't like the salty taste. I like the danish and hazelnut croissants. They also make a cheese snack with bacon and carmelized onions that is decadent. Their quiches are quite tasty as well. Their bread is very good as are their... More
