One of the very few Japanese places in GTA that is actually owned by Japanese. Before mentioning the food, I just want to say the service is spectacular. Waitresses are very very polite and helpful. I'm a huge sashimi fan, normally only for salmon, but Miyabi's sashimi tastes super fresh, and even I've come to love the other types of... More

My sister's common-law husband went a few days before to make arrangements with the restaurant owner of the dishes he wanted for his party of four to honour the 80th birthday of my sister. Some of the items, like the fish and the abalone, had to be ordered in advance. What a meal! The servings were dainty, well prepared and... More

Although the wait at this restaurant for sushi is a bit longer, it's well worth it. The fish is very fresh and they give you great cuts of seafood. The sushi chef takes his time to perfect what he serves and I appreciate that kind of honesty anytime. I find it's much better than typical "all you can eat" places.... More

First impression, very small place.. Yet the food is good enough. Will be good choice for lunch or casual gathering.

I've never had such amazing sushi in my life and I'm a picky eater. The service is great, very friendly and helpful. We had the miso soup and seafood soup as starters and they were both very good. The sushi and sashimi melt in your mouth! The seaweed is very thin so it doesn't take away the taste of the... More

Authentic Japanese food. Welcoming service. Friendly staff and chef. Great premiun ske wine. If you go there, apart from usually nigiri and sashimi, you must try just about everything in the appetizer menu. Appetizers are the greatest taster menu. The place is very popular among Japese and Chinese cleints. All very good and clever eaters. Only problem is the chairs... More

If you are looking for good / genuine sushi, you should not go to any place that is not owned and operated by Japanese people. It is not being racist, sushi is an art form and no one other than the Japanese will take the care in making sure it is perfect. Miyabi is one of the few remaining Japanese... More
