Went here last weekend and was disappointed. The service was bad and our waitress rarely came by. And on top of that the food was not very good. I wouldn't recommend it.

Went for dinner and ordered the thin crust pizza. Hard as a rock. Atmosphere was like a cafeteria. Noisy and super slow service. Glass of wine cost $17.00 (This isn't North44) Overpriced for the burbs and they don't know how to make pizza.

My kids are absolutely addicted to the SPELT crust thin wood oven pizza from here. My folly for having introduced them to it, cause now they will not go for the standard Canadian fare, and this pizza is not the cheapest. But it's delicious — in fact, we've been to what is supposedly Toronto's 'best pizza' at Libretto, and found... More

Overall, everything was okay. Nothing to complain about but also nothing to rave about. Not sure if I will go back? Not sure about value? Felt I expected a little more.

Greeting was slow however once we were greeted everything moved along well. Portion sizes were enormous. Wine glass was chipped no room to even contemplate dessert.

Baby here a couple times at the spaghetti, pizza, and gnocchi. The food was done well and tasted great. Service was also very good at this place. Lots of selections of microbrews from the area which makes this place even more special. If you're looking for good Italian food this is the place to try.

My kids love this place and I find the food consistently good. I know my Italian friends don't like it for not being real Italian food but I've never had a bad meal here.

I have tried several Il Fornello locations in the GTA, and this one is BY FAR the best. (The weakest being Church St. downtown) It has become our 'go to' for italian food. Consistently excellent. They have no problem changing things up on request and the service is always good. Pasta dishes are always perfect, and the meats are done... More
