Unexpectedly nice for the location which is in the middle of nowhere. The asparagus appetizer was ver nice. The lemon veal is recommended The Eggplant Parmesan is ok but ordinary. Desserts very nice - cookies especially a treat. Service excellent. Overall a recommend

Sarpa is a good Italian restaurant. Their pastas are delicious, the wine selection is good, and the atmosphere is pretty nice, in terms of what's out there in the suburbs. It's good if you're in the area and you have your family or significant other with you.

The only issue I had with this restaurant was the server that we had, and a few other people that served us the food. We made easy, specific orders, and we ended up getting beverages that were wrong. Since when do you get water with no ice, if you ask for ice water with lemon...not that you should have to... More

The first time visiting, I was impressed with the decor and the 'interesting' menu. Food was good (not great). Price was excessive considering the location. We returned a few months later, the service was extremenly slow, and the attitude had changed. It seems they were trying so hard to be hip and urban chic that they forgot the simple rules... More

I've been to Sarpa a few times now... my first impression was a good one but did't make me want to run back. Nothing against the food or ambiance all was fine, Sarpa commanded downtown prices for average portions in an Oakridges strip plaza. Unfortunately there isn't much to do around there. So you have a nice meal and then... More

Michael and Paul have outdone themselves once more. Terra is nice and Sarpa is closer! Both are great dining experiences. The wine list is impressive and the antipasti is superb. The team anticipates your every move and are exceptional in our view. Close to home but does not give away taste to any Italian Restaurant in Toronto. Make the trek... More

We have gone to Sarpa numerous times. It's the suburban version of an upscale restaurant. It has a decent wine list, the food is traditional italian, with a few more modern interpretations, reasonably priced, and, in my opinion, delicious! It's family friendly, we take our 5 year old son all the time, and the servers are always very attentive. We... More

Awesome experience. The decor is upmarket casual. Service is par excellence. Food is absolutely delicious. Had Goat cheese mushroom for starters, sea bass for main course and my colleague had Kale salad and seasonal fish. Excellent wine choices as well.

Sarpa is kind of an upscale (at least for Richmond Hill) Italian restaurant. It has a pretty good wine list, and a nice varied menu. The veal parmigiana is outstanding. The restaurant is owned by the people who own Terra - another very nice restaurant.
