Not so comfortable chairs

We have been to this location several times in past three years. Waiters are great, food is good, but the chairs are very low, bulky and need cushioning. We have been to the Bolton location. Chairs are better, sturdier and comfortable not so bulky to move in between. You would think by now... read more

I've been here multiple times. Always enjoy the selection of hot drinks, and the cake menu is always diverse. The desserts are very well done. Only complaint is the service is occasionally slow. Overall, definitely recommend!

My husband and I have given this place three chances over tge past four months. The chairs, tables and carpet are worn to almost threadbare, the service is slow (seems to be very understaffed). Once after waiting almost half an hour for a server to come to our table we walked out . This place used to be one of... More

They have a really wide variety of food. I haven't found anything I haven't liked. If a variety of good food is what you want this is the place.

This is a Sunday afternoon go-to place for my wife and I. We love to linger with a coffee, some dessert and while away a cold afternoon. However, this time I mixed things up with a French Onion soup and I was pleasantly surprised. Very tasty, with a little too much salt, but hearty and filling for our currently bitter... More

We went with two friends that were recommended this restaurant by their daughter. It was a Saturday night so it was busy but that should be no excuse for the poor service we had. For our appetizers, we ordered mussels, which were advertised on a side walk folding sign as a feature. Instead of the mussels we were given deep... More

Allow me to begin by saying that I do in fact come here lots, because it is a convenient place to meet up with people for a quick catch up. But I never like the chairs, the food or the coffee. All I have ordered in the past 2 years is an americano and its never been good. The menu... More

Having lived in Kitchener-Waterloo my whole life, it took our daughter to convince us to try Symposium a few years ago. I never knew what I missed, and this soon became one of our favourite eating spots in Waterloo. The service is always friendly and the food is consistently good. My favourite dish is the Pork Tenderloin , always done... More

I went there twice in the last few months, once for my birthday and once for a friend's. The first time we were charged the two piece fish and chips price even though my dad and husband both only had the one piece. Unfortunately my dad didn't notice until he got home, and he doesn't live close enough to correct... More

The food was fine but the atmosphere was not so nice. It still seems to have a beer smell from earlier bygone days. I didn't feel it was as clean as it could have been. Too much lounge and not enough cafe/restaurant.
