Dropped in one day.. liked the ambiant.. u can tell theres quite a bit of history there.. all types of hockey photos signed.. Ordered the burgers n fries.. tasted good but it didnt blow my mind.. price was good.. less than 10 bucks.. One thing id suggest is maybe updating the tables n chairs.. a little dated in that department..... More

I drive past North End Burgers daily, but have never dropped in, until yesterday when I had the burger combo. For $7.50 you get a big juicy burger, almost too many fries, gravy or coleslaw and a drink. My burger with the works was straight off of the grill - hot and juicy. The tasty fries were also just made... More

Ate there a couple of times. Nothing special, burgers were tasty and got lots of fries, but nothing sets this place apart. However, there is lots of seating.

the cooks handle raw food and then handle buns and toppings without washing there hands. there burgers sit out on counter at room temperature to let bacteria fester and they never put there eggs away in the fridge once they come out of fridge take it from someone who knowa and seen this happen for the last six months. the... I spent some time I the whitby area growing up. Ive been going to this place since highschool. Nothing fancy about it, just a consistent burger. Top it the way you like, huge amount of fries, grab your own pop if they recogize ya. Its that neighborhood kind of place. Old faithful if you will. I always go back when... More

Not a fancy place, but really good food. We've had burgers, halibut, and a couple other choices and never been unhappy. There's a back room for dine in that's cosy but clean and tidy. Often full of OPP, so you know it's good when the police eat there! Average prices for beyond average fare.

Delicious burgers - just like Johnny's in Scarborough - always served on the freshest bun - wouldn't go anywhere else.

Nothing fancy but the burgers are great and so is the service and the portions are large. I love the home town atmosphere and the price is great too. It kind of brings me back to a time when diners were run by neighbours and were a place where neighbours ran into each other - unlike a cookie cutter franchise.

Great place for a late night bite. Excellent burgers. Fries are top notch and lots of them in the combo. "Johnny Burger" is an excellent local joint.

Hey it's a good sized burger, very good fries, great poutine, now good condiments included and extremely good value buying a burger fry and drink combo that comes with gravy or slaw. I doubt you can beat the price and at times entertainment value
