Not a fancy place, but really good food. We've had burgers, halibut, and a couple other choices and never been unhappy. There's a back room for dine in that's cosy but clean and tidy. Often full of OPP, so you know it's good when the police eat there! Average prices for beyond average fare.

Delicious burgers - just like Johnny's in Scarborough - always served on the freshest bun - wouldn't go anywhere else.

Nothing fancy but the burgers are great and so is the service and the portions are large. I love the home town atmosphere and the price is great too. It kind of brings me back to a time when diners were run by neighbours and were a place where neighbours ran into each other - unlike a cookie cutter franchise.

Great place for a late night bite. Excellent burgers. Fries are top notch and lots of them in the combo. "Johnny Burger" is an excellent local joint.

Hey it's a good sized burger, very good fries, great poutine, now good condiments included and extremely good value buying a burger fry and drink combo that comes with gravy or slaw. I doubt you can beat the price and at times entertainment value

After reading a couple of reviews and hearing that this is THE place for the BEST burgers, our family had to try it. Admittedly, one of the better burgers that I've had! The fries were okay. And you gotta love the hockey atmosphere too! However, the surly, rude staff on both occasions have guaranteed we'll never return! There are a... More

Great food! Johnny's North End Burgers is nearly identical to another place in Oshawa called Mr. Burger in terms of their food. Johnny's has great burgers, fries and homemade onion rings. The place is covered in hockey paraphernalia, Johnny screams out when your food is ready and asks you to go behind the counter to get your drinks. Very cool!

Hamburgers are so-so but the price is very good. The service is poor and the servers have been rude on several occasions.

I have been going to this burger joint for years. It is an excellent family run operation that has consistently good food and the hockey theme atmosphere is cool. It's kind of like a hockey time capsule and the kids think it's great. The food is unimaginative so I doubt Guy Fieri will be doing a show here anytime soon... More
