Had the MVP pizza and loved it. Thin crust pizza, cooked in a wood fired oven = yummy. Price was reasonable and loved the fact that kids meals are miniature versions of adult meals, and only cost $5. Service was excellent, better than some high end restaurants. Very attentive staff, but not obtrusive.

This used to be one of my favourite restaurants in Whitby. The food was always top-notch and 'creative' just like the name. But what was once a 'creative' diner is now 'vegetative' with its fare now falling well below par. The pizza just does not taste like it used to. The half roasted chicken was not crispy, well seasoned or... More

I absolutely love Hot Rocks! They have a great menu, excellent daily specials, great pizza, friendly and professional staff and a great atmosphere. It is more expensive then your typical restaurant but it is well worth it!

This is a wonderful restaurant. It is beautiful inside and outside. Surprising because it is in a strip mall but it is truly lovely and the patio looks really nice too because of the greenery. The pizzas are truly amazing, the wood oven, I think, is key to a nice crispy crust. We went with friends who swear by this... More

I came here with my girlfriend and another friend on a Thursday evening. The Wood burnt pizzas where cooked perfectly and the Caesar salad is absolutely delicious. We also had the coconut shrimp with chipotle plum sauce which was great as well. Dessert was vanilla Creme Brule. Our server was friendly and attentive. Overall decent prices for the quality of... My partner and I went to Hot Rocks for dinner tonight. She had been before and liked the food. The restaurant was quite empty so I was quite surprised when she sat us right beside the servers work station. I should have said something then as we spent our dinner watching two young girls texting and eating pizza. Our waitress... More

Have been there many times, the old menu had a pizza named "mary had a little lamb", oh my my it was delicious. The newest menu (june 24, 2014) has a bacon cheeseburger which my boyfriend had and it was amazing. The juice dripping down your arms while you eat it. Amazing I had the chicken, shrimp and sausage pasta.... More

Visited this restaurant several times as a couple and with friends - every meal was unique and well-prepared. The staff was extra friendly and made the experience vey homey. Because or this, we chose them to cater a company dinner that was over the top successful. Food arrived timely, with detailed instructions on serving, and all guests raved about it.... More
