The real winner here is customer service. I met a lovely lady who just made me feel like a valued customer. An extra smile goes a long way; eye contact shows sincerity!I will be back soon

Last night we had our company Christmas party at Portovino. We were made to feel unwelcomed there right from the start. They had wedged us between two other parties and did not have sufficient seating for our reservation. The second we sat there they rudely asked us what we wanted because they were in a rush. We had to ask... More

I love this restaurant when I am in the mood for italian this is the only place I think of. I always order their meatballs on the side of my dish because they are out of this world good and huge. Service is great, too. Highly recommend. Also its a bring your own wine which helps with cost.

I went there to have some good scaloppini but instead of veal they offered one chicken dish. This is always the sign that profit overrides quality offerings. So I had the rack of lamb. It was good but the potato was burned, almost unedible. My companion had to send back her penne salmon dish. To their credit, they offered a... More

We went to this resaurant in August, never been there before, a little apprehensive a bout food. Both my husband and I ordered the Salmon, was delicious, a good size portion with vegetables, and as Seniors the price was less than 20.$ per person. Service was exceptional, friendly and so attentive to us all. Will return there on our next... More

If one did not know any better, one would bypass this restaurant. Based solely on its location- knowing where to exit off the autoroute onto the service road, next to a Tim's, one's impression is tired, forgotten restaurant. However once inside one is easily transported to a wonderful setting with wall to wall frescos, comfortable dining, and a usually very... More

It's BYO. Lunches are very reasonable. Sunday Brunches are awesome. Dinners are reasonably pricy. Steaks are juicy. My wife's favourite restaurant

Visited Portovino in August with friends. We were greater by a friendly hostess and shown to a nice window seat. The service was excellent and the food very Good with a great variety of choices. You can bring your own wine which keeps the price of the meal down. Lots of parking Overall a great dining experience.

The place and atmosphere was fantastic. The waiters were impeccable and classy. But Porto vino is quite pricy.
