Sometimes being in a lovely location does not mean great food. Crazy Weed does both. It is at the gateway to Banff National Park and it presents an interesting menu that is executed well. For starters try the Vietnamese meatballs. They go fast. The tuna ceviche is not something one would expect a thousand kilometres from the coast but they... More

Just happened upon this restaurant one day for lunch. What a good find - our server was personable, knowledgeable and attentive. The food was excellent.

The ambience is quite chic with modern furnitures of different styles in both the indoor and outdoor seating areas. Modern tunes sound through the invisible speakers. A lot of different interesting wines are on display in the waiting area (because well, if you don't have a reservation, you will probably need to wait for around 10-30 minutes to get a... More

We saw this restaurant on "You Gotta Eat Here" and they were right. This is a must if you are going to Canmore/Banff. Recommend you call for a reservation, its a busy place as you can imagine.

The food here was well presented and excellent. The decor is modern and hip, and the restaurant has good views of the mountains. It was our best meal while in Canada.

Make sure you check the hours of this restaurant before you drive to Canmore for the day and expect the restaurant to be open for lunch. They are closed all day Tuesdays and Wednesdays for lunch.

Too expensive, food was just ok . 9 tiny chicken wings were $15 . Others at the table not happy either ! Service was not good and they were not friendly ! Our waitress seemed more bothered by our orders! I think this is a fusion type of resturant because the taste of our food was different than we expected!

The first time we tried to go to this restaurant a year ago we missed the lunch cut off as they are closed between lunch and dinner. This time we made sure that we arrived early during lunch hours so we could get in. It was busy so we gave our names and sat at the bar having a drink... More

Whenever I've been to the Crazy Weed it has been excellent. The staff are generally good - especially the very very tall server (I'm so sorry I've forgotten your name), he is excellent. The lunch menu is good value for money and the duck sandwich or the coconut chicken salad would be my top choices. They also have an excellent... More

Well, I saw it as I was driving through to get gas after a trip out to Lake Louise. I was starving, and the restaurant looked interesting, and I thought I had heard of it.(You Gotta Eat Here possibly, I'm a Food Network Fiend). Anyway, the soup was Sweet Potato and Roasted garlic, and it really seemed to keep those... More
