The highlight of this place is its location, right on the corner of mainstreet. This was my 3rd visit to The Wood. OMG the food is excellent! Always. So good. Prices are reasonable. The service is great, and the atmosphere is relaxing. Great patio for those sunny days, but get there early or be prepared to wait for a patio seat. Comfy seats inside. I will eat here every time I go to Canmore.

I have been told the food here is good,Couldnt tell you if it is.I have been to the wood several times but each time we sit on average half hour with no service.Each time we end up leaving.With service like that i will take my money else where.

Breakfast here this morning - family of four - good service, great prices. The eggs were cooked as requested but theyshould improve their bread and the bacon was very salty

We went to The Wood for a late bite on Friday night, and had the nicest waitress ever, the food was good. And the atmosphere in the lounge was nice. Would go back for sure.
