Our family of ten (three generations) recently had breakfast at Communitea Café and found the food to be expensive but quite delicious. The service, however, was abhorrent. One young woman who served us was friendly but the rest of the staff gave us the impression that we were bothering them. No smiles, no eye contact. We thought perhaps they were... More

Real neat little gem in Canmore. Great different takes on healthily food options. The Budda Bowl is one of my favourite things. Give it a try!

was at Communitea Cafe in Canmore today for lunch. I love the buddha bowl, was so excited to see it on the menu! My son had phat thai and loved it, mild but tasty. our group also had a sandwich with apples in it - creative and tasty. My husband loved the dark roast coffee. there was even a shelf... More

It has been a regular place to grab a coffee and tea while downtown Canmore and never really been impressed; however, on the last visit, we were up river at the other town and noted the real differences:cup smaller, bun less tasty, and standoffish staff with all for a higher price. Next day, stopped at the competition, on the way... More

I moved out here for the summer and Communitea was my favorite spot for lunch! The Buddha Bowl is a great choice and they have the best Americano in town!

When it comes to tea my wife's favourite is the classic dust that is swept from the floor and stuck into tea bags for UK supermarkets so the minefield of being offered so many types of tea was daunting. Having settled on our brew (Canadian breakfast, delicious) we also enjoyed a wrap and a buttie, both of which were beautifully presented,... More

My family popped into communitea for lunch and were treated to an extremely satisfying and healthy meal. There are many options for vegetarian and gluten free patrons. My little ones ordered the quesadilla and it was served with a whole grain tortilla and chicken. I had the smoked salmon and pesto panini (great choice). To top it off, it was... More

We travelled two mornings to eat breakfast in this little cafe. The food was fresh, wholesome and tasty. The coffee was excellent and a great selection of teas. Tempting sweet pastries were delicious!

We were here to see a small concert. The cafe is super cute, not too big and not too small. We only had beverages, but the tea was yummy. And everyone was friendly. The setup for the show was cozy, but everyone had a good seat. I'll definitely go back for lunch one day.

I'm with my family for a quick lunch as my wife needs to go back to the office. We decided to try the café 'coz of good things we heard from other people and there is no line at the counter. It took our food orders 30 minutes before it was serve making our lunch adventure very frustrating. What makes... More
